## What is SafeLoft?

All your passwords in one place — safe, and always with you on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

• Encrypted on your device. Passwords are encrypted (AES-256) before they leave your iPhone or Mac. Not even the developer can read them.
• iCloud sync. No account to create, no servers of ours. Your data lives in your own iCloud, encrypted.
• Separate spaces. Family, Work, Home: each space has its own key and its own list, so nothing gets mixed up.
• Share with your family. Invite someone from Settings: they see and edit the same vault and unlock it with the same master password.
• Site icons, custom fields, tags, a password generator, verification codes (TOTP) and a check for weak or reused passwords.
• AutoFill and passkeys. Fills in passwords and passkeys in apps and websites on iPhone and Mac, and creates new passkeys. Every use requires Face ID, Touch ID or your master password.
• Face ID and Touch ID for instant unlock.
• Import from SafeInCloud, KeePass and Bitwarden, export and make encrypted backups: your data always stays yours.
• No telemetry, no ads.

14-day free trial, then a single purchase. No subscription. Works on all your devices and, with Family Sharing, for your family too. Even without the purchase you can always open your vault, copy and export your passwords.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-21

• Payment cards now look like real cards: with colour, network (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), chip, last four digits of the number, owner and expiry date. The eye on the card shows the full number.
• In every item's detail the field names are larger and easier to read, without the small icons in front.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-19

• The red dot can now be tapped: it explains why a password needs checking (weak, reused or old) and how to fix it. On iPad and Mac the dot also appears in the list, and every detail view has a “To check” section.
• The check runs only on your device: it doesn't verify whether a password has appeared in a data breach.
• Fixed: search inside “Password check” now finds items.

### 1.5 — 2026-10-18

• New home screen on iPhone: your passwords become big icons you can tap, with categories on top and a notice when some passwords need checking. If you prefer, switch to the list from the menu at the top right.
• Choose the order you like: most used, alphabetical, recently added or last modified. “Most used” counts opens on your iPhone only: it never enters the vault and is never synced.
• In the detail view, three big buttons: copy username, copy password, open the site.
• Switch spaces from the button at the top left; the other sections are in the “Sections” menu.
• Nothing changes on iPad and Mac.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-15

App Store listing update: new name and subtitle to make SafeLoft easier to find. No changes to how the app works.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-13

• Share your vault with your family: in Settings › iCloud, invite someone with their Apple ID. Anyone who accepts can see and edit the whole vault and unlocks it with the same master password (give it to them in person). Changes reach everyone through iCloud, always encrypted.
• To remove someone: remove them from the sharing, then rotate the vault key in Security.
• The master password now follows NIST SP 800-63B-4: at least 15 characters, no required capitals or symbols (a long phrase is perfect), well-known or predictable passwords rejected with the reason.
• The master password hint is removed: it was stored in clear text, which NIST guidelines don’t allow.
