There are a total of 12 practice tests. Some answers that are correct in the first nine tests are incorrect the last three. This would be an easy fix, but the app makers don’t feel the need to make it happen.

This is a decent app to get you started studying for your hazmat. The problem is that the questions start repeating after just a couple of quizzes. Then it seems that the developers got fickle towards the last few quizzes and started putting in questions with multiple right answers but did not put a combination answer in which leads you to miss it even though your answer is also right. They also have a few questions marked with the wrong answer in the later quizzes even though the are keyed right in the earlier quizzes. This won't get you a passing grade for your hazmat but it is a good tool to use in combination with the book and other apps to get you that "X" endorsement.

Yeah I paid five bucks for this app...and it helped me pass the hazmat exam on the first try (without reading the boring study guide from the DMV), but I have trouble recommending it.
There are many many errors in this app. The many spelling and grammatical errors speak to the professionalism of the app builder and are mostly an annoyance but the real issue is that there are WRONG answers in the practice tests!!!! There are instances when the exact same question has different "right" answers on different tests. This will really screw-up people taking the test for the first time. And it's not a matter of oddly phrased questions and answers...it's all very straightforward...but completely incorrect.
And sometimes the app recognizes an answer that you did not pick...it's some sort of glitch...and irritating.
The worst part is that this app developer has been informed of the sloppy, glaring errors for years now and yet refuses to make some SIMPLE changes and updates. They don't care. They just want to push these crappy apps out like puppy mills push out puppies with no regard for anything except how much cash they are bringing in from people like you and me.

I am glad I fixed myself, but even do I learn a lot from this application and about the Hazmat test while fixing it.

While I have not taken all the tests yet, I noticed that the first one had one error in it. It was an old rule that has now been suspended. Other than that, it looks like a very good app. I'll use it extensively when my HazMat test is due again I'm sure!

This app is a good idea, but it fails to be consistent. There are answers that the app has WRONG in the later quizzes. Emails to support go unanswered. Do NOT spend money on this app, it needs work!

I've taken HAZMAT up to tech II and let me tell you, I did not see any of these questions or anything close to them on the tests.The majority of these questions don't even apply to HAZMAT daily functions. If you are about to take HAZMAT, my advice to you would be this, listen to the instructor and study. I'm sure the results would be better than this App could help you with.

This App does what it says. The least expensive part of a new career. I purchased this and aced my Sec of State written test. Every question was covered. Some small problems with set 10 and 11. But the answers are so very clear that there were no real surprises. Very good value. Personally I took the tests and learned the material that way, then I read the material in the CDL book just to make sure I knew the subject. Worked for me.

So so glad I bought this app! Passed my haz mat test first shot! I'm terrible with test and I have to say I would definitely failed without this! Love it love love it! Questions and answers almost identical to state test.... I am telling everyone about this app! And it's even cheaper$ now than when I bought it thanks for having this app!

This is a pretty good app, helped refresh for Hazmat renewal. I did find around 5 incorrect answers in the last couple of test question sections, so if you are new to Hazmat, I would suggest having a book handy to validate. If you are renewing, this is a good Hazmat refresher app, you will recgonize the couple of incorrect answers and just ignore them.
