It’s not consistent or reliable. I’ll open the app and there are no buses, but sometimes I’ll get an alert that the bus arrived at the school and it’s random. The app hasn’t works properly in a year or so. I’m not sure if buses have to turn on a tracker, but if they do they never seem to have it on & that makes the app useless. ### 1/5 — Bud rarely shows on app *2023-08-16, version 1.8.0* The idea of the app is great. However, the lack of reliability makes it impossible to use and rely on. My child’s bus will be present one day and not the next. Morning it will work, afternoon it will not. It worked good a few years ago but something happened. Finally gave up last year. Usually doesn’t show the bus and hardly ever notifies me when it’s gotten to the school or in my zone at home. The notifications didn’t work for several months. More recently, the bus is often on a 15 min lag on the app. My child missed the bus by 15 mins one morning because we used the app! We didn’t realize the app was wrong so we thought the bus was just delayed. Some days it’s right, some days it’s wrong. You can’t trust it. So frustrating. And I can never seem to get into any of them. What a waste. The older version of this app was far more reliable. This new version is both unreliable and surprisingly unclear about whether it’s actually setup properly. Useless app ### 2/5 — 2 Days In *2021-12-15, version 1.4.3* K, I’m a student and needed something to help with the very inconsistent bus times I have in the morning. And the app worked great on the morning on the first day, but then the very next day (today) it didn’t work until after the bus had left the next stop. However, it never seems to work. My account is completely set up yet when I log in it will show the location of the bus sometimes and other times not. Sometimes it shows the location of the bus and then it gets to its first stop and disappears from my map. I never get notifications when it’s in my zone. Basically it’s taking up space on my phone. ### 1/5 — Junk *2025-08-27, version 2.0.4* This seems like a good idea. I don’t understand how the logistics work, but given how advanced everything is now, this doesn’t seem like it would be that hard. It’s my son‘s first week of school and first time on the bus, and I was comforted to know that this was an option. Come to find out that it doesn’t work at all. Absolutely zero information provided after I signed up and filled out everything they asked me to. The contact at the school says they are doing maintenance today… Why on earth would you choose to do maintenance at the beginning of the school year when everything is starting and not in the middle of the summer? I can’t recommend this app at all. I have answer all the questions. My students name address everything and he never work. my son‘s name is on the app. He’s student ID, but I could never see the bus. I only get notifications for arriving at school, never for any of the zones I have setup. Sometimes the bus shows up on the routes sometimes it doesn’t. This has been useless for our needs. I’ve have been going back and forth with the school transit and app customer support and yet, I have not found a solution on either end. Sometimes, there’s a glitch in either the app or the bus transponder that will show the bus “in your zone,” but it’ll actually be a few miles away. That’s the reason for the 4-Star rating. The app works fairly well with a very minor caveat: sometimes the bus location will lag in update. Keep up the good work! ### 4/5 — When it works - it works! *2020-10-26, version 1.2.0* When the app works, it’s brilliant. Shows the wee bus icon travel the 15min route with accuracy. We live in a semi-rural area, so I find the bus alerts very handy. It’s set to let us know when the bus crosses into our neighborhood, which gives us just enough notice to get outside to the stop. The BUT: Sometimes the app just... doesn’t work. Like it can’t or won’t connect to the server. It will act like I’m signed in but have no children or busses listed for my profile. Then I’ll reopen it later on and it will be fine. Very frustrating.
