The device has performed flawlessly, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with it. Recently, I needed a bit of support for a minor issue, and the customer service team was outstanding—responsive, helpful, and genuinely supportive. While I was in london, I got the notification from SafeTag app showing my car was on the move heading towards M1. Immediately called police and we tracked and found the car location from the app. The location was 100% precise.. I have a 10sec refresh rate subscription which helped to identify cars location in real time. I am so happy and best investment!! Tracking your vehicle via the mobile app is easy. If you have access to multiple vehicles then that same app supports you. My main reason for reviewing apart from the device reliability is the customer support team who are on hand and quickly respond to queries, in my case concerning a business deployment. Install was super easy. Setup was quick and accuracy seems excellent, can’t really fault it. I don’t trust this I contacted customer service and complain about this and they didn’t do anything. The accuracy, ease of use, and especially cost of plans is excellent. Their extremely low cost monthly monitoring packages are by far and away superior. Literally 1/4 of the price for the same update interval. But this review is for the app only. Which FTR I wish I could do 3.5 stars. Here are the few things that bother me that I’d like to see improved. - Default to following the tracker, or at least make it an option to stay following it once selected. It’s annoying to have to go in and select that every time. Especially if you only have one device. - History. I’m not the biggest fan of the screen and red dots, but it’ll do. I’d prefer to watch back (in faster speeds) the travel. But if it’s dots and timeline, if I click on one line, don’t make me unclick that one to then click another time point. If I want to see the location on the map, I have to unclick the previous one. While at it, I don’t need to read the license plate, zoom out a bit so I can at least see what the location is. - This one is very annoying: Why can I not get rid of the big white info box once I click on the vehicle? It’s a great piece of information, but let me get rid of it with a little x. Please - Last one that is a major annoyance for me is the geofences. The size limit is quite large, but that’s whatever right now. Please make it easier to edit. When I click on edit it instantly zooms in to where I’m at, and not the location of the fence I want to edit. It is very tedious for no reason. - In addition, please make it easier to add in a temporary one time fence for where the vehicle is currently. The only work around is to go turn on the movement slider. Which would be fine, but again let it be temporary. Or even better separate movements and stops. I don’t need alerted at every stop sign or traffic light. But seriously, I am a big fan so far, just coming from other bigger names like LAS, these missing things that could be tweaked in the app would make yours next-level. ### 3/5 — GPS tracking *2024-12-11, version 2.1.1* the application is ok very easy to use. shows the location of the car quite well. what i don't like is the battery percentage it doesn't show me when it is 100% so i know how long i have to keep it charged. and when the device is discharged i have surprises because i don't know how much battery is left before it discharges. please do something to show the battery in the application not just that estimate which is not accurate ### 4/5 — No Route Directions *2024-02-10, version 1.2.3* The map does not show the direction of travel when viewing the history. The tracker otherwise works well, the issue has been flagged to there developers. ### 4/5 — Someone else’s DATA!! *2024-01-08, version 1.2.3* After I bought this tracker, I found another vehicles trip data on my tracker. Their trips were tracked for a full week. Not sure what data is held on this unit, or even, how it is held as it was an unregistered SIM card. I activated the SIM card with I registered the SafeTag tracker. ### 4/5 — MPH? *2023-01-03, version 1.0.1* Very easy to set up.
