I’ve not tried it with my caravan in between the camera and my phone yet but I’m assuming it should be fine based on my tests. The disappointing bit is the picture resolution (it doesn’t look HD) and more so the colour rendition. Colours seam washed out and blacks look purple. The app itself is very very basic with no picture adjustments and I expected a camera with a 120degree fire off view would fill my phone screen, but it doesn’t, there is a lot of dead space that could be used to give the user a full screen image. I’d like to send the app improved to allow us to adjust the picture colour hue, saturation, contrast & brightness. Also a battery status icon and WiFi signal strength indicators would be appreciated. All in all, it’s adequate for the job, but neither the app or the camera picture quality are going to impress you. ### 2/5 — Zoom please! *2023-08-27, version 1.0.2* Objects appear farther away than they are. It’s absolutely brilliant. Magnetic base on the camera fixes easily onto the trailer metal bar and battery lasts for a full journey (usually 2 hours in total). Super easy to charge, set up and work. It’s worth noting that you need to recharge it every 1 or 2 days if you have it switched on for lengthy periods. Magnetic base is very strong and sits nicely on the lid of my boot. Be warned….on one occasion the image froze and I continued to reverse and came close to making contact with an obstacle behind. So keep your eyes on the screen while you are reversing to make sure you still see your car moving. Once or twice the camera has lost signal with my app and the phone screen went blank.
