## What is SafetyNet v2?

For airlines using Vistair's acclaimed industry leading safety reporting and investigation solution SafetyNet, this application can be used by your crew to enable them to create and submit reports in an easy and portable way, even when offline.

Once registered, the SafetyNet app will be configured for all relevant safety reports.  New reports can then be created and edited offline and once submitted they will be sent to the SafetyNet service as soon as there is an internet connection.

All reports are provided with a simple and intuitive user interface, which validates data entry to ensure that all required information is correctly entered.  Once submitted the report reference will be updated to show the new SafetyNet report reference, otherwise any validation failures will be reported to the user.

Major Bug Fixes & Improvements

- Fixed an issue where the on-screen keyboard would cover input fields at the bottom of the screen, making it impossible to see what was being typed. Now, fields remain visible when the keyboard is open.
- All supported report types (ASR, CSR, ESR, FRF1, FRF2, GSR, OHS, OCC, PFR, RIR, RHR, USR) are now set to confidential by default, matching the intended privacy requirements.
- Resolved a critical crash that occurred when accessing the Settings page in the TestFlight build. The app now opens the Settings page reliably
- Improved the date field so that tapping it immediately displays the calendar picker, reducing confusion and improving user experience.
- Fixed an issue where, on first login after installation, SSO users were incorrectly redirected to Safari instead of authenticating within the app. Now, SSO authentication occurs within the app as expected.
- The app has been rebuilt against a newer iOS version to resolve login redirect issues and ensure compatibility with the latest iOS releases. Full regression testing was completed to verify stability.
