I’m so grateful that I read these reviews because now I know that this is one of the companies to avoid. ### 1/5 — Vendor *2021-11-25, version 6.9.10* Have been using app for 10years now.worst app ever.pruvan is sooooo much better!!! ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-11-08, version 6.9.10* Get better software. App has too many issues. ### 1/5 — No phone call while app is in use *2021-02-07* You can no longer operate a phone call while taking pictures and it is a very vital hiccup! Then you need to stop taking pictures to use the app to connect to a call! Please give that option back! It speeds up the field time and uploading time. Also, when you queue photos and accidentally leave the app it stops sending photos! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Pictures stuck, some orders disappear from Sent and sit in Log, some vice versa without any predictable pattern. They just keep adding more pictures to take witch most are a waste of time in my book if people would just do the job instead of trying to fake them I’m sure this would be different ### 1/5 — Safeguard *2020-06-12, version 6.7.0* Worst company to work for worst APP ever Pruvan Is way better to use ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — User *2025-09-13, version 6.9.17* Extremely clunky and difficult to work with. ### 1/5 — App issues *2025-04-13, version 6.9.14* 4/13/25 - App has several issues that make it frustrating to use. • Videos almost always fail to upload due to error (-84). • If the order number is entered incorrectly, the video file gets mislabeled and becomes unuploadable. • Videos also get cut off when recording the ceiling or floor - this wasn’t a major issue before, but now that safeguard requires full video documentation, it’s a serious problem. • During photo capture, the removal of the “Always On” flash makes it difficult to take clear photos in low light - leaving only the shutter-triggered flash, which often causes focus issues and results in blurry photos. • The “No Label” button often interferes with the shutter button, especially when trying to take quick shots. • The measure function also needs work - it places text over the date stamp using the same color, which makes it hard to read and identify measurement lengths. • Lastly, the zoom control would be much more practical if its position could be customized in settings - allowing users to place it on either the left or right side of the screen. On larger phones, it’s difficult to reach the slider with one hand, especially for users with shorter thumbs. Even better, if users could freely customize control locations themselves - similar to what some in-app games allow - that would significantly improve usability. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2023-10-25, version 6.9.11* Totally cumbersome & not user friendly ### 1/5 — Ways to make it better… *2023-04-20, version 6.9.11* Submitting documentation of work performed is the most difficult part of the contractors job. 1. Systematically gas input for improved navigation and “usability”. 2. Very disappointed, makes the job harder not easier would be easier to take the pictures on my camera roll instead of this app, I have the newest iPhone with the best camera an the pictures I take from this app make it look like my 2 year old took them. They paid me for my first 2 jobs completed and the never paid me for the next 4 completed jobs. Then they proceeded to waste a month going back and forth before finally admitting they were not going to pay me for the completely jobs. They app is god awful and so is the website. Which in turn slows down my picture taking. This started a few months ago. Is there something that can bev done to fix this. I checked my phone but all is well I only have trouble with this app. ### 5/5 — Good app. Relatively easy to use. *2024-04-18, version 6.9.13* Is there an email or a way to give feedback on bugs/improvements to the app? Then you know the ap is a absolute blessing. Yes it is temperamental, glitchy, But good enough to get things done ### 2/5 — App issues *2022-05-23, version 6.9.11* Since getting an iPhone 13 there have been several issues occurring with the app. 1. The camera won’t stay in the “On” toggle, doesn’t give an option anymore. This also applies to older deceives. 2. Often times after taking a video an error message pops up saying that the video cannot be taken or saved while a active phone call is taking place. When there is no phone call taking place or even taken before the video was recorded. This also occurs on older devices. 3. While taking unlabeled photos, if you mistakenly click the button that takes you to all of the labeled and unlabeled photos, the phone will no longer take photos. The only fix is to logout of the app and sign back on. Just a major inconvenience while trying to complete an order. 4. When taking photos with 2 different devices the photos are all mixed up when uploaded into the order. They use to come through separated by the device, in time stamp order, in older versions of the app. This poses a huge problem when there are over 1k photos and they come in all mixed up. So if you manually add an order then you forget picture but you’ve already uploaded them that order can not be retrieved.
