## What is Safewalk Volunteer?

SafeWalk Volunteer is the official companion app for authorized volunteers in the SafeWalk campus safety escort program at Santa Clara University.

For Volunteers Only This app is designed exclusively for registered Santa Clara University SafeWalk volunteers. Students and community members requesting escorts should download the SafeWalk User app.

What You Can Do:

- Manage Assigned Trips View all walking escort requests assigned to you in real-time. See pickup locations, destinations, and current trip status at a glance.

- Navigate with Confidence Access detailed trip information including exact addresses, user contact information, and turn-by-turn navigation to pickup and drop-off points.

- Stay Connected Communicate with users through integrated in-app chat. Coordinate meeting points, provide updates, and ensure a smooth escort experience.

- Track Trip Progress Monitor each escort through multiple stages: Accepted → Started → Arrived → In Progress → Completed. Update your status in real-time so coordinators and users stay informed.

- Provide Feedback Complete post-trip surveys to help improve the SafeWalk program. Share your experience and suggestions after each completed escort.

- Work Offline View assigned trips even when connectivity is limited. The app caches trip data so you can access critical information anywhere on campus.
