## What is Safi?

Safi: Calorie & Diet Coach — an AI food scanner, calorie counter and
allergen tracker that keeps your food diary on your phone.

Looking for a calorie counter and macro tracker that respects your privacy?
Photograph your meal and Safi turns it into calories, protein, carbs and fat
in seconds — and warns you if it contains anything on your avoid list. No
account, no sign-up, nothing to fill in before you can use it.

* PRIVATE BY DESIGN, FREE TO USE

No account needed. Download and start logging. There is no sign-up, no email
and no password.

Your diary stays on your phone. Your food log, your weight and your allergen
profile are stored on your device, not on our servers. Photos you scan are
sent for analysis and are not kept afterwards. Like most free apps we use
advertising and analytics services — Premium removes the ads.

Free every day, Premium optional. Logging meals, barcode scanning, describing
a meal in words, your food diary, weight tracking, reminders and every
allergen warning are free, every day, with no limit. Premium lifts the daily
cap on AI photo scans and coach messages, opens the 30 and 90 day trends, and
removes ads.

* WHAT SAFI DOES
* AI Food Scanner — Photograph any meal, packaged or home-cooked, and get
calories, a full macro breakdown and an instant allergen check. Adjust the
portion before it goes in your diary, so the number is yours and not a guess.
* Barcode Scanner — Scan the barcode on any packaged food for verified
product data straight off the label. Free, instant and no AI call needed.
* Five ways to log a meal — A photo, a barcode, your own words ("two eggs
and a slice of toast"), a quick calorie entry, or one tap to repeat something
you eat often. Favourites and recents are saved so your regular meals take a
single tap.
* Calorie and macro targets that are actually yours — Safi calculates your
daily calories and your protein, carb and fat split from your height, weight,
age, activity level and goal, using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Metric or
imperial — kg/cm or lb/ft/in, your choice.
* A diet coach that has read your diary — Ask "have I had enough protein
today?" or "what should I eat tonight?" and the answer comes from your actual
numbers, not from generic advice. It tells you how much of a food to eat, not
just whether it is healthy.
* Insights, daily score and weekly review — See calories against target,
averages over the days you logged, your macro split, what contributed most,
and where the week went. Every day gets a score, and every week gets a written
review.
* Allergen warnings, always free — Tell Safi what you avoid from 15 common
allergens (gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, fish, shellfish,
sesame and more) and every scan is checked against your profile. Real-time
warnings are free, forever, with no daily limit.
* Weight tracking that ignores the noise — Log your weight and see a
7-day average rather than the daily bounce, so a real plateau shows up when it
happens. Your target recalculates as your weight changes.
* Meal and weigh-in reminders — Optional reminders for breakfast, lunch,
dinner and a weekly weigh-in. All off until you turn them on.
* Export your data — Export your whole diary to CSV any time. It is your
data, so you can take it out.
* Four languages — English, German, French and Arabic, with full
right-to-left support.

Whether you are counting calories for weight loss, tracking macros for the
gym, following keto or intermittent fasting, or simply need to know what is in
your food before you eat it, Safi gives you the numbers and keeps your life
simple and private.

Download Safi — a fast, private and convenient way to track what you eat.
