## What is Safr?

Most apps rely on averages. Your body doesn't. Safr uses the data you log to give you clear, personalized insight into your cycle, your fertile days, and your pregnancy risk.

How Safr Works:

1. Built on published research.
Safr draws on established reproductive health research and fertility awareness methods. Your cycle follows biological patterns, and Safr helps you see yours.

Safr brings your signals together in one place:

- Overnight Temperature (optional): import the wrist temperature you already track in Apple Health to see your cycle patterns more clearly.
- LH Test Strip Logging: log your luteinizing hormone (LH) results to understand your peak fertility window.
- Cervical Mucus Tracking: guided tools to track this key biological indicator across your cycle.
- Cycle History & Symptoms: Safr adapts to your unique patterns, not a fixed calendar.

2. Know your pregnancy risk every day.
Safr gives you daily fertility probabilities and clear risk levels so you always know where you stand. You can also log Plan B (emergency contraception) and multiple types of intercourse (protected, unprotected, or withdrawal) so your daily picture reflects what actually happened.

3. A smarter way to check pregnancy likelihood.
Safr's virtual pregnancy test estimator uses your cycle timing, temperature trends, and LH data to estimate your chances of being pregnant. It is an estimate based on your logged data, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for a home pregnancy test.

A subscription is required to unlock the full power of Safr, including:
- Apple Health temperature import
- Enhanced tracking: LH test strips, cervical mucus, and comprehensive intercourse logs
- Personalized fertility probabilities and cycle reports
- Virtual pregnancy test estimate & AI health assistant

### 5/5 — ⭐⭐⭐⭐ obsessed

*2026-04-19*

okay so i downloaded this kinda as a joke bc my friend sent it to me but like?? it’s actually SO useful. i’ve been using flo forever and it’s fine but it never really told me the stuff i actually wanted to know, like in normal girl terms. safr literally just tells you if you’re in a safe window or not. no weird clinical wall of text, no “consult your healthcare provider 🙂” popup every two seconds.
the pregnancy test thing is lowkey a lifesaver. i was NOT about to walk into CVS with my mom’s friend working the register. being able to do it through the app was so much less stressful, i almost cried ngl.
onboarding was cute, didn’t take forever, and the ui actually looks like someone under 40 made it. the only thing is i wish premium was a little cheaper bc i’m literally in high school 😭 but other than that no notes.
would recommend to literally every girl i know. sending to the group chat rn.

### 5/5 — so helpful!!

safr really helps with knowing my safe vs not safe days for being unprotected, and i love the pregnancy test feature so i don't have to sneak around to get one

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-18

We're always listening to your feedback and working to make Safr better, more accurate, and easier to use. Here's what's new:

• Your cycle as a chart: a new Chart view on the Calendar page brings your temperature and LH readings, cervical mucus notes, and your saved test strips together in one place.
• Easier LH strip reading: frame the strip right in the camera and Safr reads it consistently. If you correct a result, your correction sticks, and the camera stops asking for access you already gave.
• Sharper fertile window estimates: ovulation timing now draws on your measured temperature shift, your cervical mucus peak, and the onset of your LH surge together, so your window reflects the signals you actually logged.
• A more helpful Health Assistant: start a new conversation whenever you want, and swipe right or tap back to leave the chat.
• Reminders you can trust: reminders no longer linger after you turn them off, and scheduling is more reliable overall.
• An optional research study: if you sync basal body temperature from a wearable, you can now choose to join our consent-first BBT study. Entirely optional, and easy to leave.
• Reach us in a tap: support now goes straight to our team at support@besafr.app.
• A smoother start: one continuous splash from open to app, plus hardened storage so a damaged file can never keep Safr from launching.

Thank you for helping us make Safr better.
