Then with the last “hero” right before you get the instrument, it disappeared & no way to finish or play bonus chapter. Big Fish bailed 2018 soon after this was made. I thought maybe it was one that fit to screen that I missed but I didn’t head warning’s because I saw more recent reviews not have this issue. It’s so disappointing, I was having so much fun & looking forward to ,finishing , this game (not to mention bonus chapter now not playable. Glad I only paid $2.99. I thought it was more interesting/challenging than some of the other games. It was actually different. The only glitch I really had was that the sound kept going out. There were subtitles, so that wasn’t really a problem. The only real letdown was that the bonus level was especially short. It was over for me in about an hour or less. If you like these games, but they’re seeming to be all the same, this is a nice change of pace. I’m on a brand new iPad and the only issue I had was with the sound. If the sound really bothers you, closing and restarting the app usually fixed the issue. I thought everything made sense...as much as games ever do. I’m glad I took a chance on it while it was on sale. I deleted and restarted the game, even though I was near the end, and this time I was very careful when I reached this part of the game and was able to get the instrument and continue. Then right at the end of the game, where I needed to get a piece of antler from three of the stags, the game hung up again!!! I got one antler and the hint said to move on, which you can’t. I’m not trying a third time. If a game isn’t working properly and the developers are being told this in reviews, they should fix it or remove the game. I’m playing on an iPad with the latest software update, so that isn’t the problem. ### 2/5 — Four Stags *2020-03-03, version 1.0.0* This game won’t let me get the instrument from the hop. Apparently players have been complaining about this since 8/2018 and it’s still happening. Can’t finish the game without it. Something has gone wrong and all I get it, that is something I didn’t think I’d need. ### 1/5 — Dwarven tool fatal error DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY UNTIL FIXED *2019-03-03, version 1.0.0* Was enjoying the game UNTIL, When in the storage, playing the HOP in the green crate there is a tool that has to be put together from pieces within the picture The game allowed me to create the instrument too early. I created it while finding the objects in the hop. Then screen then changes to show the red outline of the instrument, but the pieces all disappeared along with the found items. I have taken a screen shot, but it wont upload on here. Rebooting and other restarts have had no effect, and the instrument is not in my inventory. It seems some others have also been stuck at this very same stage, please issue a fix asap, as the game will not progress without it. Either that or may I have a credit/refund to buy an alternative game? This seems to have been known as an issue since mid 2018 but no fix made. ### 4/5 — Great game *2019-01-11, version 1.0.0* But make sure in the hos in the toolbox on top of the scaffolding, that you don’t pick up any wooden pieces until the end of the hop. Otherwise they disappear and you cannot get the final item. I had to replay the game bc of this! Otherwise, love the Norse mythology, the characters are interesting, puzzles medium to easy, graphics good, nice music. Then a HOP basically freezes up. As several others have mentioned, the object you need to grab to progress simply disappears, and there’s nothing you can do to continue. Upon completion of a HOS to obtain a “dwarven instrument” the instrument disappears and you cannot pick it up. Hint tells you to move on, but without the instrument, you cannot go any further in the game. The game forum shows people have been reporting the bug for months, yet is has never been fixed. It has been suggested the you reset the game and start from the beginning, but there is no guarantee that doing so will work, and this happens almost at the end! There is a brief catchup referring to the previous saga for those that didn’t play it. This episode so far is smooth playing. You play different characters each on the hunt for the stolen stags of the world tree. Each in a different part of the nine worlds.
