## What is SageBerries?

One of the most important things to do when renting a property is to document the move-in and move-out conditions well so that you can protect your security deposit from fraudulent withholding. SageBerries was created to help you document your rental and share the documentation with your landlord or roommates easily all from your smartphone with no special software needed. The simple act of documenting your rental with photos and descriptions of any issues you find will help prevent your landlord from withholding your security deposit because they will know there is photographic proof. In the event that they do withhold your security deposit, you'll have the proof you need to defend yourself. Hopefully, you won't ever need to go to small claims court but if you do you can simply print out your SageBerries report and bring it with you.

We created this app to help protect renters because we have experienced firsthand having our security deposit stolen by a landlord, and we have also fought and won all of our deposit + damages in small claims court. Without the type of documentation that this app provides...we would never have been able to get thousands of dollars back from our landlord.

## Key features
