## What is SahiScan?

Document scanner and PDF editor, with photo resizing for passport-size and exam forms.

Edit PDF: write on a page, highlight, draw, sign, correct a line of text, or fill in the boxes a form already has. Your signature is kept for next time.

Scan documents with automatic edge detection — fingers holding the page are taken out. Turn photos into a PDF, merge, split, reorder or rotate pages, add page numbers or a stamp, unlock a PDF you have the password for, make a scanned PDF searchable, and translate a PDF into your language.

Resize your own photo to passport size for India, USA and Canada: choose the background, set an exact file-size limit, and print on 4R, 5R, 6R or A4 paper. Resize photos and signatures to the size an exam or government form asks for.

Before sharing a copy of your ID card, hide private details such as the ID number, address or QR code. Your original stays unchanged; the hidden copy is saved separately.

Your documents stay on your phone, in a private library you can lock with Face ID. We never see your files.

Every tool is free, and saved files have no watermark.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.4 — 2026-10-06

New: Edit PDF.

• Write on a page, draw, highlight, or sign it.
• Keep up to 10 signatures and reuse them.
• Add a signature you already have, from a picture or your library.
• Zoom in with two fingers.
• Rotate, crop, reorder or number pages without leaving the editor.

Scanning now asks before cleaning up a page or taking out a finger holding it, so you can see what changed.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-02

Splitting, merging, rotating and cropping a PDF now keep the text as text, so the words stay selectable afterwards.

Every PDF tool is now in one place: tap All PDF tools on the home screen. The tools you use most come first.

New: crop the margins off a scan, reorder or rotate pages, compare two PDFs, open a password-protected PDF, make a scanned PDF searchable, translate an English PDF into eight Indian languages, and type a declaration straight into a PDF.

Exam not in the list? Enter its photo and signature sizes yourself and get the same checks.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-30

Save PDFs and ZIP files straight to the Files app: tap Save to device and choose a folder.

Sharing a ZIP now works, and saving a long PDF no longer freezes the app.

Copy text is now offered on every document you make, and scan cleanup can be turned off in Settings for glossy cards.

Messages and help text now describe your iPhone correctly.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-27

Rename a document right after you scan or import it: tap its name under the preview.

Documents are now named after what is written on them. A scanned invoice is saved as "Scan - Invoice 27 Sep 2.14 pm - SahiScan", so you can find it without opening every file.

My library now introduces itself once. Keep a photo or signature there and it is ready for the next form.

Also: choosing photos and adding pages to a PDF are more reliable.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-21
