## What is SailingMetrics?

SailingMetrics is the all-in-one performance app for sailors — from weekend racers to regatta organisers.

LIVE TRACKING & PERFORMANCE RECORDING
Record your GPS track while racing or training. Review your recordings afterwards with speed, course, and performance data.

TACKING TRAINING
Improve your tacking with automated real-time feedback. SailingMetrics detects each tack, measures your VMG (Velocity Made Good), and gives you instant audio feedback on your performance. View your tacking angle, height gain or loss, and session history on an interactive map.

LIVE METRICS DASHBOARD
Display real-time sailing data while underway — speed, heading, wind angle, heel, and more. Fully configurable layout so you see exactly what matters to you. Sensor fusion combines GPS, compass, and BLE devices for accurate readings.

COMPETITION & REGATTA MANAGEMENT
Organise and manage regattas from your phone. Create competitions, manage classes and entries, set up race courses, and record finishes. Race officers can manage races and start sequences directly from the app.

FINISH LINE MODE (ALPHA)
Capture finishes with photo timestamps. Match recordings to competitors for accurate finish time verification.

LEAGUE RACING
Join or manage league performance races. Complete a GPS calibration run and race against others with live position tracking and rankings.
