### 2/5 — If SIM fails, no refund

I have twice in past had Saily work successfully, but in a recent trip the service would not work despite extensive troubleshooting. I messaged Saily for a refund who would only give me Saily credit with an expiry date, and not a card/bank refund.

Be mindful of this - and many countries now offer cheaper travel sims on arrival at their airports (on arrival at our destination we got 5x the data for half the cost of Saily).

After using an eSIM last year in Europe and finding that I could not call local numbers or have them call me, I decided to spend the extra to have a sim number so I could call parents in France and have the number to work for them to contact me. 
Day 1, all local France calls dropped and people could not call me. Had to open my Australian sim to contact people not on data plans. 
Day 2 spent a couple of hours on line with the Saily techs trying to get this working 
Changed all settings 
Still did not work
Day 3/4 still no action Saily emailed and asked to try calling local numbers again and email time stamps etc. 
emailed failed calls and requested the $10US back as I had now spent more than that on opening my Australian sim. 
Saily refused refund. 

In fact my recommendation is not to buy it all . My husband has now spend another 14€ to purchase a local sim - it has data too. 

Now we are down $20AU and €14, plus the $10US!

Learn from this monumental waste of time and don't use them at all

Just get an actual sim at the airport, the data speeds in the UK are so patchy. You get more value from a real sim anyway and you get a phone number, calls and texts.

Purchased for a recent trip across Brazil, primarily due to the promise of it automatically connecting to the best available carrier for connectivity (there are multiple in Brazil with varying coverage) rather than using an eSIM provider that uses 1
Carrier only. Installed fine, but the coverage was far from great. Often it would connect to a 3G service - which wouldn’t pass data - and if it connected to TIM Brasil at 5G (often happened) it failed to work too unless manually set to LTE. I wouldn’t use this again.

Just we to amazon and bought a esim half the price of most app esims simple to to activate now hopefully data works good to when i get to my destination

I purchased this eSIM for North America. I was firstly advised when it didn’t work in Alaska by a customer service assistant that ‘the eSIM only works in the USA.’ when I pointed out that Alaska was part of the USA I was then advised that the eSIM has a limited connectivity in Alaska. I would avoid this if you plan to travel here. Perhaps it is better in other locations.

Second time I write a review, first one never published. I bought an unlimited plan for Italy and I’ve never been able to even open my email. A completely waste of money since it’s not refundable. Do yourself a favor: choose another eSIM service.

I thought I was getting an Australian number. After I paid, they told me I got a US number. The only give US numbers. This was a waste of $6. They refunded me with a Saily credit that I will likely never use.

Over a period of about 6 months I had more problems with this e sim than anything I’ve ever experienced before.

The SIM cards do not work and when they don’t work they will just force you to endlessly triage the problem rather than accepting any responsibility.

They then convert your refund into Saily credits and refuse to refund the balance because the money is now credits and not the cash - this is against the law.

Do not bother - use a competitor - this company is not worth the headache.
