But also, I listen to the minute and a half summary of the Saint every day. So far I haven’t been able to listen to it on the app. It’s always buffering. Until that’s fixed, I am going to stick with the website. ### 3/5 — Great content. Poor execution *2021-06-09, version 3.1* All of the saints bios are written in here. There is a calendar outlook. But the awesomeness of their media page online is that you can have the scenes story read to you. Whether in the car or brushing your teeth. It is near impossible to get the Saints read to you without buffering or waiting. I’m keeping the app but still frustrating. ### 2/5 — Good content, bad app *2021-01-07, version 3.1* On the website, the recordings keep saying there’s a new app to download, but it’s the same old subpar app that’s there. The content is quite good most days, but the app won’t let you resize the text to something more than 8pt font, and the audio player always fails midway through the 90 second clip. So you just have to go to the website. The app is nearly useless. The other, also important to me, is that you cannot change the size of the type. So I guess I will continue to use the website which is not very convenient. Ok then. Now the app won’t load at all (iOS) I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it just says its syncing Saints. Totally doesn’t work at all now. It gives you the good information that you need and the saint of the day. Like other reviewers, I wish they would add the dates from the saint’s life. Also, I would like it if they added a prayer at the bottom, just a suggestion! ### 3/5 — Suitable Replacement *2018-09-24, version 3.1* I recently downloaded the Saint of the Day app after unsubscribing from the daily email of the same name. A recent update entailed reading part of the biography on the Saint in the email, and linking to a webpage to finish reading. This was not a welcome change in my eyes, as reading that email is one of the first things I do in the morning and switching between apps is not optimal at that time. For better or worse, the star rating reflects my opinion of that change (and the subsequent lack of response to my inquiry about it), though the app itself is solid enough. That being said, would it be possible to add the years the particular Saint lived, as the emails did, to the biography? Just a slight change that would go a long way to orienting the reader as to the time frame of the saint’s life. ### 2/5 — Please fix the audio *2018-09-20, version 3.1* I really want to love this app, but there are so many problems with the audio cutting out randomly, only to have to start it over and have it stop at a different spot. The only flaw is that the voice is cut off before finishing. Unfortunately for me the voice recording stops without completing, guess it's back to Alexa. Ke dates. The information on The Saints contains no date of birth or death. It would be nice to add some color as well. Pushing the play button again rewinds to the beginning of the reflection. The reflections work better on e-mail. This makes me sad as it has been a routine for us for a long time in the car on the way to school… Of course I could use it then —because it was hands-free but now it’s not possible. One suggestion, I would appreciate if you would include the years each saint was born and died to help put things in an historical context. I was missing this app for a bit. I love the ease in scrolling from day to day without having to go to the calendar. The look is much cleaner and smoother but the font could be darker for better viewing. Adding the birth and death dates would be a good improvement. The menu of resources is great. At first I missed searching through the list of saint names or causes but then realized that searching for the letter A brings up the entire listing - problem solved.
