## What is Sakinah?

sakīnah — a heart, listening.

When the heart is restless, heavy, or grateful, the Qur'an meets you where
you are. Name the weather of your soul — anxious, angry, sad, confused,
grateful, calm — and Sakinah opens to a verse tuned to that moment. Read
it. Listen to the recitation. Reflect. Close the app.

That's the whole loop. No streaks. No badges. No "Keep your spiritual
momentum going!" We built an app you don't need to open every day.

Every verse comes with its Arabic, a careful English translation, a short
reflection, and a deeper tafsīr that you can unfold when you want to sit
longer.

Audio recitations work entirely offline. No streaming, no ads, no
buffering in the last third of the night.

The Library keeps the verses you return to. The Journal keeps the
sentences you didn't have anyone to tell. Both are private and live on
your device only.

History is a quiet 28-day map of what you carried — the lunar month
turned into a mirror. Not a scoreboard.

Sakinah is for Muslims who've grown tired of apps that gamify what should
