## What is SakuraLoop?

Free. No ads. No subscriptions. Built with care by a solo developer.

A trip to Japan stayed with me long after I returned home.

I still remember walking under cherry trees in full bloom. We enjoyed hanami in the daylight, and yozakura when the blossoms glowed at night. That season felt quiet, beautiful, and full of possibility. Around the same time, I really wanted to improve my English. Not through marathon cram sessions, but in small, meaningful steps I could actually stick with.

I built SakuraLoop from that exact feeling. I wanted to combine the calm I felt under the sakura with the gentle daily rhythm I needed for my own vocabulary practice.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• 1,500 built-in CEFR words (A1 to C2), fully offline
• Spaced repetition: words advance when you're right, return sooner when you miss
• Daily path: short guided steps, just about 5 minutes
• Free practice: pick your length, mode, and word source
• Sakura Rush: a fun 60-second speed round
• Multiple choice, flashcards, sentence fill, matching & more
• Add your own words; review your mistakes and weak spots
• XP, streaks, badges, and practice history
• iCloud sync and data export/import
• Themes: Zen, Hanami, and Yozakura (night blossoms)
• App interface in 8 languages; word meanings in 7 languages
• Optional, gentle daily reminders (iOS)

WHY SAKURA?

The cherry blossom season taught me that beautiful things are often brief, and that showing up regularly matters much more than cramming. SakuraLoop is built for that rhythm. It is just a few calm minutes a day, whether you're on a lunch break or unwinding under a night sky.

Thank you for being here from day one.
