The idea behind double Verification is so that the information is guarded and protected, but when it comes to actual practicality, it is garbage and horrible because the amount of times I had to reach out to salesforce authenticator so that way they could keep on resetting my password so that way I can get in the app and put the numbers so that way it can allow me to login into. Salesforce is ridiculous. It either says that the code no longer works it timed out or the amount of attempts have expired. There’s a reason why this app has 4.1 K reviews. And salesforce has over 300,000 reviews. It’s because they’re probably delete them. How can people use Salesforce and not sales force authenticator you can’t. ### 3/5 — 3 stars due to no dark mode icon! *2025-09-17, version 4.7.0* I would have given this five stars, but it still does not support a dark mode icon. I almost always have to wait for a new code and click use another method in my browser because the app is barely functional ### 1/5 — Worst UX ever *2026-03-04, version 4.7.0* The whole point of this app is to make authentication more seamless for companies. It dies the exact opposite. The copy and UX are horribly confusing. I often find myself in confusing authentication loops without recourse. For example, when you say “on your computer, enter this two-word phrase when prompted” — huh? Provide more context. When will I be prompted? Who is prompting me? How will I be prompted? What do I do if I’m not prompted? Also, the static icons above—what do these even mean? Why are they here? And the bit that says “To connect other accounts, scan a QR code”—again, where do I find a QR code? This is a horrible UX with confusing instructions, which defeats its purpose from the start. ### 1/5 — This app SUCKS *2026-02-06, version 4.7.0* It took everyone trying to use it multiple tries to get it to work.
