Was this app outsourced and you’re not paying the company for an update? Did y’all cut back and let the team go that built it in the first place? Seems like people are just reviewing into the void here with no response for fixing a critical bug. If you can’t sign in then the app is useless. Please fix it. You’re using web view within the native app for sign in that is botching the passkey process. This is a fixable problem. At this point, the Sallie Mae brand is taking a hit on this one. It’s just embarrassing. ### 1/5 — Username and pass do not autofill from iOS password feature. App is unusable *2026-05-30, version 24.1.2* Username and pass do not autofill from iOS password feature. You have to manually open the passwords app, then copy and paste the password into Sallie Mae. Crazy that this was not fixed during testing phase. ### 1/5 — Worst Banking App or website ever! *2026-05-05, version 24.1.2* By far worst app and website I’ve ever used. But on the bright side there 5 year cd rates are some of the best around. ### 1/5 — Broken App *2026-04-27, version 24.1.2* Not sure what they did to this app, but it’s broken. Can’t login with it anymore. It keeps getting stuck at some FIDO Authentication. I can only login from a web browser. ### 1/5 — Needs a rework *2026-04-08, version 24.1.2* The latest version of the app doesn’t pull from iPhone passwords like the previous version did. Please consider a revision to create something more compatible with the iPhone. ### 1/5 — They will lock your accounts *2026-04-07* My money has been sitting with them since 2025. They are scammers and thiefs. They will lock your account right after you make a deposit don’t do it . I made a deposit of $2200 into my savings and this guy Angel Martinez decided to lock and steal the money . That’s what they do . You call and nobody picks or help . Don’t fall for it . I learned my lesson the hard way now they have $2200 locked up . Is ponzi bank don’t do it ### 2/5 — A broken web view *2026-04-07* I recently created an account and logged into the website with my phone, I used 1password to setup a passkey for login. When attempting to login to the app I am unable to use 1password for my passkey, thus blocking my login. I had to add text verification instead to be able to login to the app, not well thought out. Also after logging in it appears to just be a web view within an app, what’s the point? ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-04-03* Unable to log in. FIDO authentication works fine on the website but you can’t get past it on the mobile app. The security key prompt never pops up. I’ve looked on the website to see if I need to enable mobile banking, and there is no option for that.
