It was clearly a mistype from the customer based on the name being similar. As a result I received a fully completed loan application for someone based in the Philippines when I am UK based. I have their full name, address, employer, salary, bank details, why they’ve taken the loan - a fraudsters dream!!!! You’d expect a regulated business to take this seriously as whilst the customers mistype is not their problem, to continue to knowingly send sensitive, financial information to me - an unauthorised party is unbelievable. This company’s response after 5 emails back and forth and me copying on their CEO and similar C suite employees was to raise as a complaint - great someone who will take this seriously. They did nothing more than their Customer service agent and went as far as asking me for some government issued ID and a screenshot of me logged into the email account. The ID - yes ha, let me rush right on and give you my personal details when you’ve proven your incompetence in dealing with that for another customer - Not provided that. Email logged in screenshot, yes I provided even thought I shouldn’t have to given I’ve been emailing them from this email address. Their final response was, No ID = no action from us. So as I had previously state to them, I am contacting their register bodies that are responsible for banking in the Philippines and posting this review for anyone thinking of using them - don’t if you want them to deal with a simple query efficiently or even competently. If they can’t deal with a data breach which is a serious issue for a financial business, what hope do you have on anything else. ### 1/5 — very high interest *2025-08-14, version 2.22.0* very high interest and it wasn’t explained very well by the agent that I will be paying big amount monthly just for the interest ### 5/5 — Grateful with GRATITUDE *2026-06-14* I am truly blessed and grateful for the amazing offers and user-friendly service of the Salmon Credit Card.
