SalmonBytes brings together the scattered public data of Chilean salmon farming and turns it into something you can actually consult in the field, even with no signal. Built for industry professionals: site managers, health and environmental teams, consultants, inspectors, suppliers and researchers who currently lose hours cross-checking spreadsheets, government portals and resolutions. WHAT YOU GET FARM SITE MAP Cartography of aquaculture concessions and Salmon Concession Groups (ACS) with real polygons, location, license holder and status. Search by site, RNA number, company or ACS. FALLOWING CALENDAR Visual calendar of sanitary fallowing periods by ACS, including rivers and lakes. See at a glance which neighborhoods are resting, which are in production, and until when. VETERINARY DRUG REGISTRY Registered veterinary pharmaceutical products: active ingredient, sale conditions, withdrawal period, target species and presentations. REGULATORY Inspections, sanctioning procedures and final penalties associated with aquaculture facilities under environmental oversight. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM All information comes from public sources of the Chilean State: - SAG (Agricultural and Livestock Service): registry of veterinary pharmaceutical products. - SERNAPESCA (National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service): aquaculture transparency data, sanitary fallowing, stocking, harvests, mortalities, treatments and escapes. - SUBPESCA (Undersecretariat for Fisheries and Aquaculture): aquaculture concessions and technical records. - SMA / SNIFA (Superintendency of the Environment): inspections and sanctioning procedures. We complement these sources with information requests filed under the Chilean Transparency Law (Law 20.285), which lets us include records that are not always published in a consultable format. Data is processed and updated periodically so you get it organized, cross-referenced and ready to use. WORKS OFFLINE After the initial sync, the information is stored on your device in an encrypted database. You can consult maps, fallowing periods and records at farm sites, on vessels or in areas with no coverage. TRIAL Includes a trial period with full access.
