It was easy and it tallied up everything at the end of the year. When I bought the iPhone 14 pro max and did an update I lost everything. Now it won’t even let me open the app without immediately closing. I’m upset that there is no way to contact the developer to resolve this issue. ### 4/5 — Decent *2023-02-08* I have had this app for almost ten years I worry that eventually it won’t work along with updates on my phone. But aside from that I have been happy with it. One 2 separate occasions I have lost ALL of my information. No one to help. A few of my appointments disappeared, and that's never happened before. It's a good thing I knew who was coming in, but if future ones disappear... Then I'll have a problem. The shortcomings: -Does not sync properly between devices. This actually makes the app worthless for me. Hope they enjoy my $10 for an app that doesn't do what they said it would. -You can't save a reminder/confirmation message. It now allows you to customize the text in your appt reminders, but you have to change it for every single message you send out. PAIN IN THE BOOTY. There should be a way to change the default message. -When looking at the daily appts for the week, it doesn't show you the time of each appt in the text (only color coded so you have to click on the appt to open it)...in other words, it is difficult to schedule other appts at a glance. ### 2/5 — Don't purchase!!!! *2015-01-23, version 2.1.2* I purchased this app over a year ago and just love it. Now... I have lost ALL my data including all the client contacts and records. I have emailed tech support more that 5 times and to date, have not had a response. It's frustrating!!!! I have gone to Apple and they can't help because it's not an Apple app. I guess I'm just screwed. Even though it has lost data I would not be so frustrated if costumer service would respond back and help me retrieve it. The data IS showing up on the phone but I use the iPad at work. Well, not any more. It's been over a week since I have tried to contact them. Don't purchase this!!! But it constantly shuts down, when you first load it sometimes your client list and calendar are empty until you reload it. If you add a new client, that will be the only one showing in the list until you reload it as well. I just bought it and I imported my contacts (which was very easy) then I put a few services and appointments that I had scheduled for the next day in and left the app. When I went back into it everything was gone. I imported my contacts again and left the app and it did it again. I can't import my contacts as it claimed you can. Took lots of time entering my clients all in only to be able to send out reminders and the app freezes up when I go to send the text. Wish I could get my $9.99 back. Don't waste your money. Support doesn't bother to email you back either. ### 1/5 — Keeps shutting down and doesn't sync btwn more than one device *2014-07-08, version 2.1.2* Bought this app originally on my iPhone. Worked fine when you added your contacts. Then when you add your services it was fine. I bought a iPad a couple months after I bought the app, and the two don't sync together. I emailed the support staff a couple times and kept getting the same email saying to make sure they are both under the same account and then to restart both devices. I did that a numerous amount of times and it still doesn't work. So then I tried just putting it in manually on the iPad and every time I added a service the app just shut down so I would have to go back into the app and do what I did all over again or just left off from where I was. Really annoying. It happened EVERY TIME I added a service. Oh and when I tried taking my contacts out that were not my clients the next day all my contacts were back in there. Disappointed that I spent $10 on this crap that doesn't work when it clearly says that it syncs with numerous devices and that it kept shutting down on me. So I wouldn't buy this app again or suggest it to anyone. ### 4/5 — It's a great app *2014-06-19, version 2.1.2* But I wish that I had the option to see just a simple list with times for upcoming appointments. When you double book on the ca lander it looks messy and hard to read. You can't see times. ### 1/5 — Awful *2014-06-16, version 2.1.2* Not reliable at all!! Upload contacts and it uploads multiple times, so then you need to go through n delete the extra. Then it deletes everything!! When you have an appt based business you can not have a service that deletes everything!! Contacted support and they gave me crazy instructions to refresh my client profile. Plain n simple I can not use anything that is this unreliable. Again AWFUL!!! I asked for my money back! I had to rate it a 1 but really it should be -5! ### 2/5 — decent *2014-05-21, version 2.1.2* I like the organization of the app and how I can put in my own services and prices but every other time I go to use the app my info isn't there. I have to turn off my ipad and then turn it back on. I finally started using my gloss genius account since this happened and I’m adapting pretty well. They really need to fix the glitches with this app and do some updating! The new version of iOS doesn’t support the app. apple tells me to contact the developer. It takes you to a u-tube site There’s no way of even reaching this developer yet apple continues to sell it. I have lost 200 appointments customer data, the list goes on. When update my iOS it lost all my 4 months of appointment. I gave it another try and it happened AGAIN!! I absolutely loved this app but unfortunately I have to find another one which totally blows. I have had it for a while now but have suddenly lost everything! I have it backed up on iCloud so I went to Apple but they can't retrieve my data because for some reason the app won't release it ! Apple said the info was there but couldn't be retrieved problem with the app. Not the cloud or my iPad. I trusted that this app could handle a busy schedule however it failed. It looks like it was thrown together, and based on the list of app that this developer has it probably was. Its missing some of my contacts after importing. I have tried a few other app, and this one requires me to type a lot. I have to manually do a lot of stuff I simply don’t have the time to do as a busy stylist. Especially for $10 you would think they would at least help you a little more than just import your contact list for you. You can’t even select which ones you want to import. I find the calendar is horrible, I’m constantly trying to figure out how to add an apt. There is no support for double booking? Has this developer ever talked to a real stylist or just his barber? The email apt reminders is very dumb, it doesn’t include the time, How is that useful ?? Anyone who thinks this app is awesome has not tried some of the other options out there. The app freezes up and I can not put any info in at all. Fortunately I had not started using it full time and was still using the old fashion pencil and paper so I am only out the money I spent.
