It is the worst app I've ever used. I need to shop at SalonCentric for my business and you would think that they'd like to make it easier for you? Instead, it glitches constantly, doesn't remember me, doesn't display my points, won't let me change my info(when I can find it), and almost never works. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!! I swear, each update it gets worse. You are owned by one of the largest beauty companies in the world! All I get it the main page and it won't open can't even pull up my code to use in the store. I hope there is a good update soon. ### 1/5 — Customer service is terrible *2026-06-15, version 4.2.5* Unfortunately our hair picking orders up at the Carmel Mountain store has become very inconvenient, it doesn’t matter anymore if they have your cc on file. The manager which everyone is manager there is useless. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I’ve been a SC client for over 20 years and this actitud from the workers there is absurd. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-06-12, version 4.2.5* So glitchy it’s basically unusable. Constantly freezing, unable to scroll through products, and other challenges. There’s also an endless error loop when trying to set preferred location that makes it impossible to see if the product is available near you. This app has been horrible for years and I don’t understand why It hasn’t been fixed to work better and be more user friendly. Also you can’t misspell anything when searching a product either or It will say no results found they should make It so It says “did you mean “matrix” “ and pop up products like every other website does with auto correct. So annoying. It will not let me get passed the page where you put your information. Y’all really need to up your game in the technical department, Salon Centric. It needs a serious reboot . I've been trying to search up redken products for over 30 mins now . ### 1/5 — Fix the preferred location option!! *2026-05-30, version 4.2.5* I’ve deleted and reinstalled this app multiple times and it still won’t save my preferred store location. I’ve logged out, logged back in, updated the app, and made sure my Wi-Fi and service are working perfectly. Nothing fixes it. The most frustrating part is that there are so many other 1-star reviews from people having the exact same problem. It’s clearly not just me, yet this issue still hasn’t been fixed. Saving a preferred store is a basic feature and it shouldn’t be this difficult. I’m tired of dealing with it every time I open the app. ### 1/5 — App sucks *2026-05-27, version 4.2.5* It takes forever to open or load. I’ve had to put the rewards card in my digital wallet because otherwise I’m holding up the line waiting for the app to open. The staff know too because they give all kinds of troubleshooting tips. Even with the rewards card in my digital wallet, I still have to use the app for looking up items or shopping and I dread each time. Who has time to watch things try to load!? ### 1/5 — Annoying *2026-05-16, version 4.2.5* Constantly glitching won’t even let me search an item just freezes or stays loading the whole time🙄 ### 3/5 — Buggy *2026-05-13* While I can order online, it’s difficult because it’s buggy. My name is spelled wrong on the account and they don’t let you change that. Can’t just update your license expiration date so the workaround is adding a new license then you have a number listed. If you message support- you can’t include any punctuation or it thinks you’re adding credit card info and won’t send. Images are not enlargeable, so you can’t see product details in images on phone unless you screen shot and blow up image. Other than that, a lot more available than in the stores, and solves the problem of my store never having the color I need in stock. Every time I open the app, it frustrates me even more. With how slow this app is I could drive to my nearest store and pick up before this app even works! Less is more! Not to mention when this happens i lose my reward points that i was trying to use and have to wait until next order for them to get reinstated and half the time they go bad because i don’t need an order that soon. i am finding a new supplier - cosmoprof looking better and better. Went in for the first time — get talked into the app. They circle my customer # on the receipt and say I can use that to login or whatever. Well SalonCentric, I have tried to do just that and here’s how it goes: “Looks like you already have an account” (when trying to create one) Okay.. let me reset my password?? “If there is an account associated with this email you will get a reset link”. NO EMAIL RECEIVED. Hm. Weird. Let’s create an account using the customer number. “We sent a verification code to your email” TO WHAT EMAIL??? Because again. NOTHING RECEIVED. You search up products and it says there’s zero results, even if looking up something simple like a brand name. I read a response to a review saying to log out and log back in. Did it. It has locked me out and glitches when I try to log in. This is by far probably the worst app experience I have ever encountered. ### 1/5 — Store Locator *2026-07-11, version 4.2.6* I really like the app overall and haven't had any issues with how it works. My only complaint is the store locator. None of the SalonCentric locations near me are available as options, even though I live close to two different stores. Because of that, the closest location I can select is over two hours away, which means I often have to pay $20–$30 in shipping when I should be able to pick up my order locally. It would be great if all store locations were added to the app so customers can use the stores closest to them. Other than that, I have no complaints and really enjoy using the app. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2026-07-08, version 4.2.6* This app was very useful in the past. Now, there are zero search results, no listed inventory to speak of when navigating to different brands, etc. the only thing it’s good for is showing my loyalty card at the store. The website isn’t much better. Every time I go to log in, it says my password is wrong. Then I reset to the exact same password and it logs me in… until next time smh ### 1/5 — So over it *2026-07-01, version 4.2.6* I have never had an app that’s needed so many updates and still is terrible. Please get it together. It is constantly updating, which is probably why you always have to log in every time. I had an issue setting it up since my email was not in the system when they checked at the store. I also had to manually save my password in the Apple password app for ease of typing it in. My store checked my account to see the email on file and got it fixed for me. I love placing pick up in store orders cause I’m busy and my order is ready for me when I get in to pick it up. ### 5/5 — I love this app, and store! *2023-10-31* I go to the franklin TN store and the two ladies that run the store are always helpful and friendly! They also will bend over backwards to accommodate to your needs. The only thing that bugged me is the June pride text. I know that wasn’t from the wonderful ladies at my store but a corporate thing. I almost stopped giving y’all my business but then I thought how wonderful these ladies are I decided to keep coming instead of going to state. I really hope I don’t get anymore text like that! Y’all have a great team to run that business it’s the business on Martin Luther King North I don’t know the address offhand but what a bunch of great people amazing y’all did a great job and hiring them I’ll be back how do they hook me up with the app and bought a few Things just amazing.
