## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.32 — 2026-09-29

Saving services and products works straight away, and you stay signed in

A new service, category or product shows up in your list as soon as you tap Save. A category you create under Services stays a service category, and editing with the pencil works again.

After a Salonnare update you stay signed in.

Also:

- Importing from Excel also works with a Dutch CSV file, products without an item number all come in, and each product gets the category from the file.
- An empty cell in an import no longer wipes an existing price or stock.
- A product's sizes are easy to read again on a small phone.
- The Online booking switch does what it says again: when it is off, your booking page shows that online booking is unavailable for now.
- Send feedback now has the same bug icon everywhere.
- Signing in and resetting your password are better protected.

### 1.0.30 — 2026-09-22

See which emails a client received, and read them back

The client card now shows a mail history: every confirmation, reminder and review request this client received. Messages that were NOT sent are listed too, with the reason in plain language. You can open any email and see exactly what the client got, formatting included.

The visit history has been reorganised. The weekday comes before the date, the treatment is now actually shown, and the status reads at a glance: green for planned, grey for completed, red for cancelled or no-show. You see every appointment ever instead of just the last few.

Adjust loyalty points by tapping the points card.

A planned system update is now visible in advance, both on your own screen and on your public booking page.

Also fixed:

Emails you design yourself now arrive the way you built them. Buttons, discount lines and VAT rows sometimes fell out of their table and ended up skewed, or missing entirely.
The label print dialog named a paper size you could not find there, and a scaling option that exists in no browser.
Printing labels did nothing at all on a phone. It now goes through the share sheet, where your printer lives.
A generated barcode is saved immediately, so you can print a label straight away.
The come-back reminder can now have its own interval per treatment type.
The review request is sent the morning after the visit instead of the same evening.

### 1.0.29 — 2026-09-21

Sizes and refills per product, deposits per treatment, and loyalty points for a review

You can now sell a product in several sizes. Under a main product the 5ml, 20ml and 200ml sit as separate lines, each with its own price, stock, purchase price and barcode. At the till you tap the product and pick the size; internal use has the same picker in its write-off screen. Scanning goes straight to the right size, and every size gets its own label with its own code.

New alongside that is the refill: the same contents without the packaging. Your client buys the pump bottle once and after that only the refill, which saves waste and money. The bottle stays on sale with its own stock, and at the till you choose between the bottle and the refill.

Deposits can be asked more precisely. Next to the existing options there is now: only for treatments you tick yourself, or as soon as an appointment goes over an amount. If an appointment matches both rules, the higher amount applies.

Clients can earn loyalty points by leaving a review. You set how many. The review link in the email confirms briefly, credits the points and then forwards to Google, so you get your review there and your client gets her points. Once per client, because a second review is not something Google lets you leave either.

If you have connected your Google Business Profile, Salonnare fetches your reviews. You read and answer them in the app, and your salon page shows your Google rating with the number of reviews and a link to them.

Photos can now be added several at a time, both in a client's photo history and in a staff member's portfolio.

The booking widget for your own site is more than twice as wide on a computer screen. Treatments sit in three columns, names no longer break, and the categories fit on one row. On a phone nothing changes.

Also fixed: the calendar arrows only worked for one click and the date picker between them did nothing; the date label made the button next to it jump around. When rescheduling you now see how busy each day is and your current appointment is marked, and a treatment that is not bookable online no longer blocks rescheduling. A category you remove from the till moves to Internal use, and that worklist shows the purchase price instead of the sale price. The pre-sell email is gone, it duplicated the reminder.

### 1.0.28 — 2026-09-16

Label printing, email switches per type, and the app remembers where you were

You can now print a barcode label for every product. Next to the EAN field there is a printer button: pick a product or shelf label, a size and a number, and you get a PDF at exact millimetre size. The list covers fifteen formats, from the DYMO range and three Brother DK rolls to the common sizes of the cheap thermal printers and two Avery A4 sheets. Mark the rolls you use often with a star and they move to the top.

Salonnare warns you up front when the bars get too fine on the chosen size to scan reliably, and tells you when the price or description does not fit. If a product has no barcode from the supplier, one button generates one for you.

The twelve automatic emails can now be switched on and off individually. Confirmation, reminders, review request, birthday, no-show, deposit and the rest: each with its own switch and its own settings window, all together with the email templates instead of spread across six sections.

The app remembers where you were. On the calendar, in clients, at the till, in purchasing, stock, reporting and settings, the tab, the filters, the search term and the date are in the address. A refresh brings you back to the same screen, the back button does what you expect and a link can be shared. An open detail window is part of that too: the back button closes the window instead of leaving the page.

Click away a new product, service or category by accident and Salonnare keeps what you had typed, so you can restore it when you open the form again. Health data, payment details and login details deliberately stay out of this.

In purchasing you set an order quantity per product and simply type the number in an order. The Internal use tab now comes first, and a product category whose till visibility you switch off moves there.

Also fixed: the barcode scanner sometimes read a label with letters as a string of digits, and the scan result did not stay on screen long enough to read. The booking widget for your own site did not work for any salon and could not be scrolled; it now also looks like your booking page, and a book button with your own wording has been added. The colour formulas switch saved nothing, peak hours in reporting ignored your filters, and the screen for linking separate payments showed internal names instead of text.

### 1.0.27 — 2026-09-04

Lower transaction costs and a clearer client detail screen

The platform fee on online and card payments drops from 1.5 percent to 0.5 percent, with a minimum of 0.30 euro per payment instead of 0.50 euro. On a 100 euro treatment that means 0.50 euro instead of 1.50 euro.

The client detail screen has been rearranged. The blocks follow a logical order, and you now edit notes and internal notes right there instead of through a separate form. A fourth card has been added showing the client's loyalty points.

If a client has a health note you see it straight away: at the top of the client detail, in the client list and in the details of every appointment for that client. What it says stays behind the permissions you set per staff member. The separate alert note is gone; the health note takes over that role, so medical details no longer end up outside the encrypted vault. You can now add a short note to a photo in the treatment history, stored encrypted as well.

The waiting list has grown. You edit an entry instead of deleting it and entering it again. You record a from-to time, and for fixed weekdays also a from-to date range, so a standing request does not run on forever. Reaching the client through WhatsApp is one button.

When you turn a waiting list entry into an appointment you only see days and times that are genuinely free, including the transition times between treatments. Double booking is no longer possible. Days that fall outside the client's preference are faded and ask for a confirmation first.

On your booking page and in that screen the days are coloured by how busy they are: green means plenty of room, orange a few slots left, red fully booked.

Also: in reporting, peak hours now count client appointments only and the card follows the period you pick at the top. Colour formulas can be switched on or off in the client settings. In an intake form, Dropdown is now called Single choice and you enter the options one row at a time. And deleting a health note, attachment or client photo visibly works again; the row used to stay as if nothing had happened.
