Conversion software between the gregorian calendar and the republican calendar. Created during the french revolution, the republican calendar had 12 months of 30 days, followed by 5 or 6 complementary days. It was legal in France from 1793 to 1806. Each day was associated to a plant, an animal or a tool. The app gives too the decimal time: the cientists wanted to change our way to measure the time in the day, each one being divided in 10 hours of 100 minutes of 100 seconds. By double tapping the screen Today, you can send messages with the republican date by mail or in Facebook or Twitter, etc.. N.B.: Facebook does not allow the perfil of the posts. Un widget pour l’écran d’accueil et verrouillé serait top afin d’avoir la date et l’heure républicaine. ### 5/5 — Beautiful app *2019-05-29* Lovely design for an app that not only converts dates between the Gregorian and Republican calendars, but allows to see time pass in a different way. Only the option to switch between languages in the app would make it better, and might be on its way. Bon boulot alors pour cette application ### 5/5 — Parfait ! *2011-05-13, version 1.1* Jeune généalogiste, je butte actuellement sur la période républicaine et son calendrier... Cette application tombe à pic et n'est pas une usine gaz. Par contre, les mois sont classés dans l'ordre du calendrier républicain (ce qui est logique), mais comme je ne connais pas cet ordre par cœur, je suis obligé de faire défiler la liste jusqu'à trouvé le bon mois. Une possibilité de classement par ordre alphabétique (même si ce n'est pas trop historique... :-)) ou une possibilité de recherche par le clavier serait un plus. Mais là, je "chipote" (mon coté fainéant peut être...). En tout cas, il y a vraiment une application pour tout sur l'iPhone. A Montmartre la Commune Libre fonctionne avec lui et cette appli tombe a pic.
