Zum Besuch in Salzburg die App runtergeladen. Zum ersten muss man sich registrieren zum Ticket kaufen. Dabei kann man nicht wie bei Apple typisch das vorgeschlagene Passwort nützen da es als zu lang beanstandet wird. Zum zweiten wird man im Anschluss noch um persönliche Daten genötigt wie „wo man wohnt etc“. Last Not least wird Paypal und vor allem apple-pay nicht unterstützt. Nach dem vielen hin und her .. hab ich im Bus bar bezahlt… elektronisch geht da leider auch nicht… in der heutigen Zeit rückständig !

I can’t see what purpose it serves. You simply cannot use it to plan a journey. BudapestGO is a benchmark and as it supports a much more complex transportation network I like the fact that it gives me options and instructions. Tells me how far to walk, in what direction and how long it will take. Ditto the rest of the journey. 
What I don’t understand is that Apple Maps gives clearer information than Salzburg’s app.

Egal was ich lade, bekomme nur noch unten einen roten Fehlerbalken mit "An error has occured" immer wenn ich die Karte bewege. Somit völlig nutzlos.

Hier wurde mal wieder mit dem Faxgerät digitalisiert, die App ist völlig unbenutzbar. 
 1. Wieso kein Kauf ohne Registrierung? Es sollte ein Direktkauf möglich sein — besonders für Touristen und besonders in Coronazeiten. 2. Wieso kein PayPal? - Ticket kauf nicht möglich, trotz Visa und MasterCard. 3. Wenn schon Accounts, dann bitte auch sign in mit Apple & Co. nutzen 4. Felder richtig benennen, damit Autocomplete funktioniert, z.B. beim Passwort. 5. Ihre Passwortrichtline sollten Sie überdenken. Ein Limit nach oben bei 15 Zeichen ist doch nicht sinnvoll. 6. Kein Fuzzy search bei Zielen. Entweder man weiß, dass der Salzburger Flughafen “Salzburg Airport” heißt, oder man fährt halt nicht hin.     Fazit: Ein Stern ist zu viel.

Set up my account. Then didn’t recognise my password. Tried several times to get an email sent to my account to reset the password and it never arrived. Can’t use the app now. Left me stranded with no ability to buy a ticket. Rubbish.

Wehe man Verlässt sich auf die App- dann kann man gleich die Strafe einkalkulieren. Bezahlung mit Karte geht nicht mehr. Kein Paypal in der Zahlungsoptionen. Deutlich schlechter als früher…so geht Mobilität und Klimaschutz nicht . Usability version 0.9

The only thing this app is good for is that I can purchase my ticket on my phone, the rest is just chaos.

There’s no option of translating into any other language. It doesn’t have a guest function. You have to register with all your details including date of birth. You can only buy a ticket for yourself - each person has to have their own account. It literally took longer to go through this rigmarole than to take the bus into Salzburg! Much better apps available.

No idea how you buy a bus ticket in Salzburg now. This app apparently? So we have to have an app and create a login for a city we are only visiting? It’s like someone at the city bus company was convinced by a flashy tech salesman that they needed this app when a simple tap-on, tap-off card reader on the buses would suffice.

No option for English only, half the app is in English and half German. App is NOT user friendly, have to create an account which takes about 2 hours to complete. Absolute rubbish and must be the worst app on the appstore.

This app is essential for navigating the myriad bus lines around Salzburg. It can get a little overwhelming if you don’t know what bus stations you need to use, but if you do know that info it’s such a breeze to use. It’ll show you all the options between the two stations for a given timeframe (which you can adjust!). It even superimposes the bus route on the map so you can track your progress along the route. And so you can find your way to the right station in the first place :)

Einige Kritikpunkte sind nachvollziehbar (Bsp. kein Paypal, ausbaufähige Suchfunktion), aber die teils unterirdischen Bewertungen kann ich nicht verstehen. Kurze Registrierung (bei mir spontan keine 5 Minuten vor Fahrtbeginn) mit Kreditkarte und los gehts! Es können über die eine Registrierung Tickets für mehrere Personen und in den verschiedenen Preisstufen gekauft werden und neben den Ticketabruf in der App werden diese per Email zugestellt. Bei den fairen Preisen für Tagestickets in Salzburg kann ich mit den kleinen Macken der App gut leben.

Somehow google maps is not yet powered to show the public transport information in the app and so I had to install this app to get around Salzburg. The experience can be better but it gets the job done once you know how to use it. I used it for a full day to roam around Salzburg without asking anyone and this app was correct in all the bus timings, locations and numbers. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Salzburg.
