Madeira Island’s AeroBus and Green Bus Trip Planner Check timetables, routes and ticket prices of the Aerobus and Green Bus services of Madeira Island. The Aerobus connects the Airport to most of the hotels in the city of Funchal. The Green Buses, depart from Funchal and cover the East Side of Madeira Island. Check timetables by location and/or bus route. Ticket price will also be displayed. Find the nearest bus stop to your current location. Find the nearest bus stop to your hotel in Funchal. Create and save a list of your favourite bus routes and timetables. The SAM Madeira Bus uses GPS for geolocation purposes, like finding and showing the nearest bus stop to your current location, but also works offline as the timetables and bus routes are stored within your device. For your convenience free Wi-Fi coverage is available on the Aerobus, at the bus terminals and the Express service of the green buses. The Aerobus trip into Funchal takes approximately 40 minutes and departs from outside the arrivals terminal, you can’t miss it. Travel tickets for all bus services are available on board. Not only has it not been updated in ages, but the information on bus fares and schedules is completely wrong. We find ourselves waiting for buses that don't exist. As for the drivers, I have no particular comments to make about their lack of friendliness, but their driving is sometimes dangerous and unpleasant. In short, I strongly advise against this useless app. Hopefully, one day it will finally be updated and become useful, but for now, it is only a source of frustration! ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2023-09-06* The app just doesn’t work properly and needs a lot of work , whenever I enter a destination it doesn’t show me available busses. ### 1/5 — Timetable for Aerobus is wrong *2023-08-29* Do not use this app. I tried contact the developer but ended up on an error site. It’s overscale by prox 15% causing the buttons and menu to be cut. Most of UI doesn’t work, too. Today I tried to get it to tell me about any bus from Conical to Machico - it said there were none today. Actually they run hourly and I got one just fine. The yellowing and faded poster of times at the bus stop was better than this app, and correctly predicted the bus I needed. ### 1/5 — Lamentable *2022-08-08* Sans nul doute la pire application de transport public que j’ai pu voir de ma vie. Impossible de trouver l’horaire et l’arrêt de bus pour se rendre à l’aéroport. On en vient à croire que la piètre qualité de l’application est volontaire pour forcer les étrangers à payer un taxi pour rentrer chez eux.
