As a free easy-to-use app, Sambav Scan will enable the doctor’s assistant or doctor to check-in the patient when they walk-in for their appointment. All the assistant needs to do is to launch the app from his/her mobile phone and login with the requisite username and password. Note that the doctor or the assistant must be pre-registered with Sambav before logging in. The doctor’s assistant will have at their disposal three options, QR code Scanner, Mobile number and Unique ID (UID). These options can be availed to check-in the patient into the doctor’s waiting list. The QR code scanner will scan a registered patient’s Sambav ID. If the patient does not have the card, then the assistant can enter the registered mobile number or unique ID (UID) of the patient. Once the patient details are entered, the profile will seamlessly sync with the Sambav platform.
