It says you are able to download appointments and test results to your apple wallet. It used to work until iOS 16. Now it doesn’t do that. Hopefully in the future they will fix that since I test a LOT for the work and the apple wallet used to help me organize my test results and appointments. Also maybe one day they can make an Apple Watch app. That would be cool. But definitely fix the apple wallet part first ### 3/5 — App works for the most part *2022-12-09, version 1.9.2* I did have to uninstall and reinstall it. At first, I had gone through entering all of my information for an appointment, then couldn't submit it. The keyboard was possibly covering the submit button and couldn't be removed. I uninstalled/reinstalled and it worked fine. Note that if you walk in to some locations(walk-in ONLY), they have happy hour specials during certain times with reduced prices for the wellness shots. The one they told me about was get a covid test, get a wellness shot for $20. They appear to be somewhat lenient with it as well. ### 4/5 — Website *2022-07-21, version 1.8.0* The website insurance card upload did not work ### 4/5 — Much improved! *2022-04-13, version 1.4.4* I previously gave this app the worst review I’ve ever submitted for a piece of software (and it deserved it!). Almost all of my complaints did get addressed in updates over the following months (still missing, as far as I can tell, is multi-factor authentication), so I am updating my review to match! The app is now pretty easy to use and almost never makes me swear at it any more—kudos to the team who worked on it over the past year! **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. Good to see that the UI lives up to that bare minimum qualification. Easy to book appointments, cancel/change, etc. it’s also very easy to look at all of your past COVID test results from this provider in one place. Maybe I have not figured out how to keep my insurance info in the application but I have to fill out the information for my insurance and my drivers license every time I book. Thanks! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Booked an appoint for 6:25pm, arrived at 6:30 and the denied me a test. *2022-07-20, version 1.8.0* The workers at Brea,CA lie and say you need to be here 15 minutes before but no mention of this in the app. I booked my appointment 50 minutes before and left immediately. With the travel time it wasn’t possible to get there 15 minutes early. If you have appointments at the end of your shift, At least wait 5 minutes for them to arrive. ### 1/5 — Locking up *2022-06-14, version 1.6.0* I am not sure what happened but this app repeatedly locked up when I was supposed to add the insurance card info. The buttons to upload were not responsive and the continue button kept showing the wheel then stayed on same page. I closed and reentered the app four times. Then went and downloaded the app to a different phone. If I have this issue again I’ll go to another testing location. Very frustrating and waist of time. ### 1/5 — The worst app I’ve came across *2022-05-12, version 1.5.2* First of all, it’s sleezy on how they make you download the app to see you’re results and can’t just get a simple email- does not sit well with me. But on top of that, THE APP DOES BOT EVEN WORK! It literally does not open and stays loading indefinitely when I input my login info. Horrible horrible app. Last time I take a test with this company ### 1/5 — Why do they try to make you use this app? *2022-01-24, version 1.3.4* I got a text that results were ready but the only link provided was to download an app (I don’t like anything that can only be done on phone and not a computer. I was trying for hours to login on the app and never received the confirmation e-mail. Finally I googled what to do if you can’t login and found a website you can also use. That worked immediately, so why do they try to make it like the app is the only option? ### 1/5 — suspicious *2022-01-17, version 1.3.2* I came to the scheduled place but there is a closed asian deli place. I called the call center to get another number to call. I called that number and a guy said that the place is closed due to weather condition. I didn’t receive any notifications about closed place but did receive reminders about the appointment multiple times. I’ve spent my time but nobody even sorry. ### 1/5 — Forced to pay *2022-01-11, version 1.3.2* I took a CPR test in your establishment, the one covered by my insurance, on Saturday, Jan 8, at 10:42am in order to present when checking in for my flight this morning. Of course, my flight left at 9:00am without me and, according to your app, my test is still being processed. I asked if I could take a later flight today once I got the results, and was told that the next was at 3:00pm and test would no longer be valid (the 72 hours from the time of collection will have expired. My only option is to get another test. It is hard to understand how a test that can be done in one hour for some, takes more than seventy two for others. It is very misleading to present this product you offer to travelers, if you cannot get the results in time for them to use them. Furthermore, I incurred in unnecessary expenses: useless trips to the airport, penalties for changing my ticket plus all the stress and aggravation this situation created. This was not a good experience. ### 1/5 — Terrible completely unnecessary app *2022-01-04, version 1.3.1* Why can we not just use the website. F this app. F this horrible prospecting where they are forcing you to install software that runs poorly and does god knows what else to your privacy. This company is supposed to provide health care. Instead their attempt at data-raping everyone unfortunate enough to use their service proves that they are only after profit. If they cut corners with a substandard app and cheat to steal your data by forcing you yo putting their software on your device JUST TO ACCESS YOUR RESULTS should we be concerned they cut corners with everything they do? Is my test result reliable? If there business practices that are publicly facing are any indication their business practices behind the scenes are downright unethical. 0/10 may god have mercy on them. Because I don’t. All the positive reviews of this app are from China click farms. Avoid this business like the plague from which they profit. They do not serve the public good. They serve some CEO who cuts every cost imaginable to deliver the bare minimum serviCE. It does not let you book appointments consistently. The only reason to download it is that the company forces you to view your results. It’s disconcerting to know that a company with such low tech literacy has access to a trove of personal medical data. Update: the company emailed me to tell me that the app does work and is all fixed up. It however is not. If you have any further concerns, please email support@samedayhealth.com ### 1/5 — Everything breaks *2021-12-27, version 1.3.1* They finally fixed their login issue, and now you can’t even use the app OR THE WEBSITE to book an appointment. And there’s no other way to do so, which defeats the purpose of the whole thing. When you click on an available appointment time and press “Continue,” nothing happens. And if you try on the website, it says “please complete all required fields” …even though there are none others on the page. These people are a joke. If no password set, Clients have to proceed through the password set flow. That being said, could you try resetting your password? Please feel free to email support if this issue persists. ### 1/5 — Terrible service and customer service *2021-12-24, version 1.3.1* After waiting 6 days, still no results, (tomorrow will be a week) for our PCR tests, both my husband and I are still waiting for our results! We keep getting the run around when we are lucky enough to get in touch with anyone. The support option makes the app crash. I will never go back to this flakey place. It’s so easy for me to walk in this Alexandria location and I’m greeted so friendly every time and I always get my results back super fast. My location is drive up, and the process has never taken more than 15 minutes. Results come quickly on my phone. I recommend this service to everyone. On bit of advice is to fully register when you book your appointment.
