Gives you the option to scan in your lures from the bar code... it couldn't find any of em. "Sorry we could find this lure...". Manual input... doesn't recognize any names. Take a picture of a lure, pic doesn't show up. Actually, it’s pretty decent for free, so no complaints here. Livingston lures are very good, regardless if they have EBF technology or not. I use them, I catch fish, I’m happy, money well spent! With the amount of tackle the average angler has these days, sometimes you end up buying a duplicate lure by accident. Using this app is a great way to know what colors, styles, diving depths, etc., that you already have. I had no problem registering the app either on iOS or android, which I have both. When scanning barcodes, either use the QC code on the actual lure, or you have to use the old school barcode that’s on the lure’s package. When doing this, all of my new lures were immediately scanned with the proper picture showing style and color. I probably won’t use the app to record granular details on catches, locations, or any other details that the app provides right now. I have other ways of doing this. The only thing I might do is record the number of catches each specific lure provides If I notice that one lure in particular is real hot; specifically a color, size, lure action combination. When you have a monster day out on the water, do you ever really forget what body of water you were fishing on? All in all, this is a basic app, but it’s free, and I find it useful. Livingston lures is in the business of making great fishing tackle, not writing apps. For what they put together, two thumbs up! I would like a lure finder function so I could locate the lure based on light conditions and running depth as an example. Would be nice to link out to the Livingston website for the lure currently selected so I could read in detail about the lure. Lastly, why are there no depth values? ### 3/5 — Update to the app *2023-11-26* The developers need to make an effort to update this app. It has so much potential, but hasn’t been updated in 6 years! ### 3/5 — Some problems *2021-06-03* The app will not show its logo and will not show me any pictures of the levers for this app. It will also not let me change stuff like depth for the lures not for the app. This app was kind of a letdown! Also will not let me track my location so I can not use the fish log! ### 3/5 — NEED TO ADD PICTURES OF EACH BAIT *2017-04-12* NEED TO ADD PICTURES OF EACH BAIT....at least a "stock" picture of each one (each model and shape....exact color can be added later) I mean every bait I have scanned, 3 different models 3 different colors of each model, have NO PICTURE, just the simple SAMI log. Add a function that we can take our own pictures of our baits.....AT LEAST **Developer response:** We figured out the issue and have fixed it. I was drawn to it for the fact that I can organize my lures and know which ones work the best. I wish it would show a stock image of the lures in my tackle box.
