The only thing you are able to do without paying is look at the dictionary, giving the definition in both languages. The 2 stars is for the work put into the dictionary. If you are looking for a free app to learn your culture, this is not the app for you. ### 2/5 — Pronounciation *2020-07-18* I love this app but I’ve notice It doesn’t pronounce the words anymore... The speaking portion doesn’t even work so I can’t hear how to pronounce anything. Rip offs! ### 1/5 — 1 review and no response *2019-02-20* I’m just writing because I see that there is someone who needed help trying to reach out to someone for help concerning purchases he or she made and went missing. I’m going to assume that no one cares because it’s only one review and no one has time to respond to that person. Anyhoots, from the looks of it, it’s been well over a year. Anyways thanks to that person I’m not going to waste my time purchasing anything because no one will respond if any of my purchases goes missing... I was set to pay for this annual subscription because I want to learn the Samoan language...but after reading these reviews, I’m not impressed with the developers SILENCE. Not responding to the valid concerns of their paying customers is as irresponsible as you can get. Not to mention erasing the previous version, this “green” app that I’m reading about, after many people have paid them for it. That’s criminal. Too bad really, from what I’ve read it seems like it was a very useful and helpful app. But that doesn’t mean much if the developer feels ok just taking the green app away from their customers right along with their money. They’ve created irreparable damage to their company name by showing their lack of integrity. If in the future I read reviews from these unhappy customers saying that they were contacted, given an apology and had their money returned in full then I’d be impressed and would probably buy the new “purple” app. We’ll see if that happens. ### 1/5 — Grammar page? *2018-10-24* I had purchased a previous (green) version which included a very comprehensive section on grammar and language structure. I was disappointed to find it missing. Could it be reinstated or could someone possibly send me a copy of it? ### 2/5 — :( *2018-07-21* I downloaded this app to learn conversation etc as it showed in the preview photos but had to pay for sentences; travel and basic sentences. ### 1/5 — Previous in-app purchases? *2018-06-06* Oct 30th: I paid for all of the in-app purchases for the app with the green icon. Now I can’t open it at all with iOS 11, and I have to download this new app. How do I get back everything I paid for? I tried to find how to contact support, but it just says “we may reply to your review.” Please reply. I’m not happy that $30+ (I don’t remember how much I paid. Maybe $45? Maybe more?) of things I bought, and need, are just gone! Dec 18th: still no response from support. If the only way you will allow people to reach you is through reviews, you need to respond to them. I expect an answer for how I will be compensated for items I purchased and cannot use anymore for reasons beyond my control and of your doing. I paid for unlimited use of these tools. I expect to retain unlimited use of these tools. Please respond. June 6th: I never received a response. Not responding to your already paid and loyal customers is horrible business practice. I don’t care how cheap the subscription is, this is rude. ### 1/5 — iOS 11 update changed the app? *2018-02-20* I previously had this app (with the green icon) with all of the purchasable content unlocked but after updating to iOS 11 I no longer have access to that app and all of the content disappeared. I can’t restore the purchase when I open this version of the app? I’ve only been using it for a day and there are two phrases that cause the app to completely crash and close.
