Unlabelled buttons that you’re expected to memorise the functions of, playback modes that I can’t work out how to interact with, buttons that look like labels, and a terrible manual. It’s a cool idea for an app, but it just frustrates me every time I use it. I now seem to find myself in a situation where I have two unlabelled white dot on red background buttons that do nothing in the bottom right corner, and no other buttons that do anything - the entire rest of the UI is disabled. In fact, here’s an idea - since UI designers seem to be allergic to feedback using meaningful words or messages, here’s a review using the same style of communication. Perhaps I should stick to AudioShare? I don’t know…. Sorry about my earlier diatribe about abandoned wear …. in my defense, the record input doesn’t look like a button. It looks like a header bar? I know I know., read the friendly manual I guess….ha….. I made a violin sample in Loopy Pro and used AudioShare to easily move it into Samplr. Why? There are many things that can be improved. A responsive design would be great. On the iPad Pro 2021 11" there are black stripes on the sides that give the feeling that you are using an old application from 10 years ago. I would also really like to be able to rename pasted audio files, since the displayed names are more of a nuisance than a help. And most importantly — a multi-channel AUv3 version. Please, it’s long overdue. I feel like the sound is malleable and hands on and it uses the features of the touchscreen effectively. I first tried this up about eight years ago on a friends iPad and bought an iPad so I could use the app permanently. My favorite app at an iPad. 1.5 another great update! Thank you Marcos! Midified Samplr - nice for volume, panning and sends. And the individuals channels for each sample in Audiobus or AUM? - that will be perfect! But maybe it’s too much to asc… ;) ### 5/5 — An iOS Classic *2024-02-14, version 1.5* One of my all time favorite music apps for the iPad it helped me explain sampling to my son when he was very young. It is a wonderful use of the touch interface with a genuinely great user interface. So glad it is still available. **Feb. 2024 ** Thanks for the update! Without that compatibility, Samplr remains a fantastic tool for messing around with samples when working live.
