I was listening to a long playlist of tracks yesterday and I got back on today and it has no idea where I was or even what track I was listening to. This is a problem every time I use the app. Thanks. ### 3/5 — Dont make me switch to untitled… *2026-07-16* Guys, its a great app but we need to fix these bugs. I need to quit and reopen the app multiple times in order to listen to new versions. Sometimes other people i share playlists with can fully not play certain songs at all. I gave you money and would rather not switch back to the douchey untitled (which I have heard has gotten way better). I’ve deleted and re-downloaded. I’ve used it on multiple phones and on the computer as well having the same issues. Everyone is using it and has zero issues. Friends I’ve asked are boggled by what’s happening with my stuff? And I can’t seem to get anybody from the company on the phone. **Developer response:** Hey there! You will absolutely love sharing files with other songwriters, producers, fans, whomever! It has quite a few simple, but effective features like comparing different song versions that can be great for your writing process also. Downsampling is happening somewhere. I reported this problem on Sept 15 2025. Not good enough for an App that is bragging about Grammy award winning producers. So 1 star. Happy to award more stars if it ever does play 96k out. ### 1/5 — completely unable to play songs *2026-04-24, version 1.14.5* was working fine a few days ago, now im suddenly completely unable to play songs via the app. It works fine in browser but the app is literally useless. But I’ve had a lot of issues sharing a link with a client, more specifically them not being able to download their file even though I have made sure that enable downloads toggle is on. Very frustrating for something that should be so easy ### 2/5 — Used to be excellent *2026-02-19* It was a good app until it just stopped letting me upload anything without an explanation just to take me to a pay wall. I’ve deleted every single item and it still won’t let me upload a track. It just shows the pop up that shows how you can upload from anywhere. A good app that has been ruined. Never paying for this when the free version does not function - even from a forest reinstall and restart. **Developer response:** Hey there, You absolutely should be able to upload files without paying (up to 4GB). If you deleted a bunch of items all at once they may still be in your trash. Items are deleted automatically after 30 days. The trash is currently only available on the web app (samply.app). No caching of audio or preloading for when ur going through a train tunnel. This whole app is like 1 feature and I’ve found 4 or 5 annoyances in my first week using it ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — What [untitled] Could’ve been *2026-08-15* I’ve had a few minor complaints in the past about the Samply app, but recently, it hasn’t had any noticeable issues, and it’s now a very reliable app. Compared to its biggest competitor, [untitled], Samply is miles better. Better customization in your projects, allowing up to 3 different versions of song files, and also just being more optimized. I fully switched to Samply from [untitled] a few months ago now, and I’m not upset with it. Great app, great customer service, just generally better than any other platforms like it. ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2026-07-30* I have been using Samply since the early days and the updates continue to make it better and better. I own a recording studio and I use this app to manage all of my work from pre-production to mixing. But, with new updates and bug fixes, this truly is a great alternative for putting your own music, or music shared by others, all in one service. Only fault for me, in my opinion, is that, it might be just a problem on my end, but the stack feature doesn’t seem to work like it used to. In a new project, I made a song and later updated it, but when looking for the stack icon, it was gone. Strange thing, but I had a older project and its stacks worked perfectly fine. Just a tiny bug.
