And I can ask for a baby seat. Only taxi app that provides baby seats. !!! ### 1/5 — Don’t download if you want to be late for work *2022-05-25, version 30.4.2* The worst app ever I will never use it again ### 1/5 — Stopped accepting card payments *2019-07-01, version 30.1.2* No card payments means I won’t be using them again. Also cars were always late even after booking the night before. Where do I begin? Late drivers even when you book and pay in advance. Rude receptionists who need customer service training! False ‘arrived at pickup’ information when the cab is still 5 mins away!! receptionist lies and tells you the cab is 3-4 mins away when really it is 10-11 mins. No apologies when confronted, instead the man on the phone hung up the phone on me. I will most definitely be taking this complaint further, totally unprofessional. There are much better more professional similar apps with staff who actually care about their customers :) AVOID SAMS CARS ### 2/5 — Just great *2017-08-11, version 30.0.8* This app is not at all intuitive. When you have apps like Uber for example why not emulate their model and improve upon on it? No need to reinvent the wheel which is exactly what this is. For example, When I typed in my destination being Dalston Junction station The app Said "The destination cannot be found" even though it has a section labeled "train stations." That section has only 13 train stations out of the countless train stations in London. Regardless, you should be able to type in any train station and The destination should appear. There are quite a few other glitches but I can't be bothered to name the mall. Sortie about Sam's Cars come on! Great pricing though I'll admit which is why am giving it two stars instead of one ### 1/5 — App works fine - shame about the human element. *2015-08-20, version 21.5.0* Although very archaic the app works fine. It's a shame that my first booking using the app from Gatwick didn't show up. Being an ambassador for local cars may have run its course. Downloading Uber now. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! *2014-10-04, version 10.0.0* One of THE worst companies I've ever dealt with! In my line of work we regularly have to use a car service to transport staff accompanied by some luggage/boxes on a weekly basis, and we were looking for an alternative to Addison Lee who we normally used. I booked a car through Sam's Cars the afternoon before it was needed, and received the booking confirmation. The next day, half an hour before before the car was due to arrive they called and said the following: "Yeah you got a car booked at 10.30? Yeah we ain't got it." When I asked what they meant they didn't have it, it had been booked over 24 hours ago, and I had received confirmation, the reply was; "Yeah, well no one checked so we ain't got it." I then asked why, if I booked yesterday are they only contacting me half an hour before the car was due to arrive to say they didn't have the car? The reply was probably the rudest customer service experience I've ever had; "Yeah well you can book another car somewhere else, what's your problem?!" Disgusting. Disgusting service. Disgusting attitude. Disgusting way to treat customers. Needless to say, my company did not use them again and stuck with Addison Lee, and Sam's Cars managed to lose themselves quite a big regular contract. ### 5/5 — Great app for a local cab firm *2014-03-31, version 10.0.0* Works a champ. Can set up card payments, order ASAP or for a given time. ### 5/5 — Sam's cars *2013-08-24, version 1.1.5* So I cant comment on the price variation between the app and actually ringing in. But Ive been using Sam's for a good few years.
