Install this application to use Samsung Color E-Paper in a smart way. 

You can view and choose device setting options provided from Samsung Color E-Paper, which includes detailed setting menu such as Display/Picture/Power/Security.

Literally had to purchase a cheap android phone to send content to my EMDX display. Would not work on iOS. 

I’m a software engineer and I feel the issue here isn’t me on this one.

Every app update gets worse and worse.  I have 4 of these panels and all of them are literally useless if using IOS. Whoever is working on this app should be fired. I used AI to create my own working app in a couple hours… yet Samsung can’t figure it out in over a year?!  I’m not even a professional coder!

Leider funktioniert die App nicht mit dem Gerät. Es wird keine Verbindung hergestellt. Zwar wird das Gerät erkannt, aber jegliche Verbindungsversuche scheitern. Schon etwas erbärmlich von Samsung und schädlich für jeden Händler des Geräts, was auch immerhin 1200-1300 Euro kostet!

Leider kann ich mit der App weder mein iPhone 17 Pro Max noch mein iPad M4 Pro mit dem Display verbinden. Samsung Kundendienst reagiert leider auch nicht.
Update 02.12.25: Samsung Kundendienst hat geantwortet. Das Problem ist bekannt und soll mit dem nächsten App Update behoben werden.

App sees the device and connects Bluetooth to configure network settings but app will not connect to the device to WiFi or hotspot. Generic error message returned. Samsung support unable to assist. So the device is unusable without app connection other than loading via flash drive. My guess is Samsung has focus on android connectivity over iPhone…and it shows.

Unboxing the EM32DX is all you can do with the display because the App doesn’t connect the device to WiFi. Tried to networks plus a hot spot to continue to receive the “something went wrong error.” Re-boxing and returning my displays.
