I hooked up the proper cable but the app never recognized the connection. When restoring data from an iPhone to a Galaxy, the iOS backup method is used as is. So even if you transfer only certain data (some items such as photos and messages) through Smart Switch, IOS will back up all of your data. Therefore please delete any unused data before back up. Or you can restore data from the iPhone to the Galaxy via iPhone → PC → Galaxy. Even if you are backing up using a PC, it will also perform a full backup. But the capacity of the PC may be slightly better than that of the smartphone. Therefore, we recommend backing up to a PC and then restoring it. You can download and install the Smart Switch PC program from a PC using the following link.
