The route section did adjust for this. It wasn’t clear if the times are corrected in real-time or simply reporting off the preprinted VTA schedule. I suggest getting he free Transit app which seemed to be more versatile. ### 2/5 — Not useful for planing trips *2015-03-07, version 2.3.2* This app can only tell you route schedule information. It is useless if you want to know where to transfer, or if you are looking to get somewhere specific. Typing in an address will only get you a nearby stop, with no option finding out how to get there from where you are. Only good if you a very familiar with VTA routes already. ### 3/5 — Low offline maps resolution *2014-05-17, version 2.3.2* Good app however I was hoping for a higher resolution for the offline maps. Even with zooming it is very hard to read the name of stations. Aside from this, however, the app has languished and it does not appear that this app will see a redesign. It works fine on the iPad, but not on the iPhone. ### 4/5 — Excellent app! *2011-12-01, version 2.1.1* This is a very well-done app. You select the route # and it defaults to giving you the arrival time for the next bus at the nearest stop. You can look at the schedule for every stop on a route or just the major stops. Does eveything I need. I usually already know where I am and what bus runs by me so a feature that picks up where I am located is nice, but superfluous! This app would transfer well to many cities public transit sys. I wish you well. Dublin Bus Ireland could do with you. Someone created one for it but not vey effective app, check it out. Launched maps, clicked on a location pin at MtView Caltrain. Then the app crashed. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2024-05-02, version 3.2* What use is this? It has a couple of bugs but nothing that exiting/reopening the app doesn't resolve. It's especially helpful on holidays when the schedules tend to vary. Don't get this app right now. Crashes on all my devices. Wish I knew what device Richard6767 was using. Revisiting this write-up: I didn't give the developer enough time to respond. As soon as we started our email exchange, he was very responsive. The developer responded very quickly to my questions. Please read and follow the fix he gave me. It works very well, and now the app is stable and running. Here is the fix he gave me (and it works great!!): 1) Uninstall the application (Press and hold the icon until is jiggles and then press the red cross icon) 2) Reinstall from the appstore (You wont be charged again as you already purchased) 3) Run the app. The app should not crash now. The previous version is keeping some stale files in the system. So it is important that you remove the application completely. ### 5/5 — Great app!! If you know where you're going, and just need to look up the bus times for your route, this is perfect.
