## What is Sanctum?

Sanctum is a calm-strategy tower defense: half monastery builder, half drone siege.

Grow a small abbey into a fortified sanctuary. Every monk has a job — hauling ore,
baking food, standing watch — and every room you build changes what your monastery
can survive. Then the drones come.

BUILD A LIVING ABBEY
Lay out cloisters, granaries, and dormitories to grow your population. Every monk
you raise can be assigned to build, farm, defend, or study — reassign them on the
fly as each wave demands something different from your walls.

THREE WAYS TO FIGHT BACK
• Wardens — fast, close-range defenders for the walls
• Trebuchets — slow siege weapons that crack armored Ironclads
• Culverins — long-range marksmen that see through cloaked Phantoms

FACE A GROWING SWARM
Common drones give way to armored Ironclads, cloaked Phantoms, and the towering
Harbinger — a boss that bursts into a swarm of smaller drones when it falls.
Twenty-five waves stand between your abbey and peace.

EVERY RUN MATTERS, WIN OR LOSE
The Illuminated Codex permanently grows stronger the more you play — extra monks,
deeper stores, sharper weapons — unlocked by shards earned from every run, victory
or defeat. Rare reliquary caches offer a choice of lasting boons mid-run. A new
blessing greets you every day, and a rotating weekly trial reshapes the rules for
those chasing a real challenge.

THREE TRIALS OF FAITH
Pilgrimage, Crusade, and Tribulation offer a measured path, a fiercer fight, and
a true furnace of faith for veterans.
