Sogar mit nur einer Hand. Der Road Plan sieht interessant aus. SAND hat definitiv Potenzial. Was mich noch nervt ist, dass jedesmal die Record Funktion anspringt sobald man in das Midi Instrument oder sein geladenes FX geht. SAND hat großes Potenzial. ### 4/5 — A lot of potential - not yet there *2025-12-06* I play with it once in a while just to notice that it is improving but not quite intuitive to use yet, for me to actually make music with. Note editing, snapping/quantization is still somewhat awkward and buggy. On the other hand it has a well organized main interface. And for mainly using it with a hardware controller where midi editing and tweaking is not the focus, this is a great tool, especially because almost everything is mappable. ### 4/5 — Rendering *2025-11-04* Why it doesn’t rendering? **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! Great on phone. *2024-11-08* Sand is a fast way to get an idea going, right on your phone. It’s compact design lets you put together a really nice groove. If, only, if, a certain semi-generative function and/or a sequence or pattern based on scale is only introduced, No one, in the iOS world, would never ever bother to even consider another sequencer app, no auv3 is needed, it’s absolutely stable and easy enough to deal with. Forget Auv3, it’d only put tremendous stress on the developer. If it runs smoothly in AUM / ApeMatrix, that’s just over the top feature anyway. Beautiful interface, Think about the semi generative chord based patterns or sequences. There will be none, quite so equal! If I understand it correctly, a clip should wait its turn before playing and not simply start even if in the middle of playing another clip. Or at least offer the option to play when triggered or wait till one clip finishes playing. Also needs more detailed instructions. ### 3/5 — Dropped to 3* from 4* after another composing attempt … *2024-07-13, version 2.0.1* Unpredictability for creating new notes; selecting notes already there, for editing; syncronizing between tracks for tune building … (in the old sense from years ago when, we still used differing themes and verses and choruses / et cetera.) Not deleting yet even though no updates for months. Looking for another basic, replacement as this idea had been. В прошлый раз, когда писал комментарий, я потратил часа 2 на поиски информации, можно обновляться или нет пользователям, которые уже купили приложение и нужно ли будет снова покупать твою программу, но так и не нашёл, даже на сайте нет этой информации. Многие разработчики так иногда делают - по тихой, без предупреждения, вдруг оказывается, что после обновления программа стала например с оплатой по подписке. Has not working. The record does not pick up data on my end and even in a pre-save ideas from 1 app to another. Sands has not crashed, no!!! It doesn’t show in my subscriptions. ### 1/5 — Not clearly explained here *2026-02-01, version 2.1.2* That this is a paid app. Find out after download. ### 1/5 — Not worth the effort. *2024-08-25, version 2.0.2* Just like AUM, it’s too cluttered to comfortably use on a iPhone 12 ### 1/5 — Does not work with most other iPad instrument apps! *2023-11-10* The issue I have with SAND and many other sequencer apps on the iPad is in spite of the developer's claims, it does NOT work with many of the keyboard or music apps that are available on the iPad and with no list of compatible apps, there is no way of knowing what will work and what won't, until you buy SAND and try it out. To say their advertising claims that you can use it with your favorite plug-in is completely misleading. There's a 66% chance it won't. Here's a short list of instrument apps that I've found are NOT compatible on my iPad: Nave Synth One ILectric Piano Galileo Vogel CMI Samplr Quantiloop Pro And here's a few that are compatible: Koala VHS Synth SK-51 It is beyond me how so many developers at the Apple Store are allowed to sell their products while making misleading claims without any documentation or proof that they actually do what they say the can do. **Developer response:** 👋 Hi there! The problem is that the apps mentioned are not plug-ins, unfortunately, while SAND works with AUv3 plugins, as stated in the name and the app description ### 1/5 — Too early? *2022-12-02* At this moment - v1.0.1 it’s useless. Less than 50% of my synths and plug-ins show up. Many that show up don’t work properly - they don’t affect the sound, crash or mute the track. Where the sequencer is centred, someasily after a note entry ATTEMPT, flies up to the C8 area. ??? (i-Pad 9 standard. Latest i-OS.) Entering note values with the pre-selected time length … good luck! I were having troubles entering hihat notes for a 1/16th, with, the visual of the note showing up as 1/4 … ? Changing the length diwn to 1/8th, the automatically assumed ‘fill’ filled in a line if 1/32nd notes. ??? Thanks anyways chief! 2 years waiting for the bugs to be worked out and even more brought in? Back to my search for an Ableton Live 10 sessions type of sequencer, that doesn’t cost way past a hobbiest’s budget. I’m at a loss as to why Sand wont run within AUM any more! ? I were very curious as to your most recent update from 6 days ago. I’m positive that I have run Sand within AUM before. Now though? Sand isn’t recognized within the latest AUM, within the latest iPad 9 iOS, in any way! ?? I went to ask my MSoft AI assistant if it were able to verify Sand and AUM compatibility and AI said fully compatible! AI suggested my rebooting my iPad which I did. I have had that solve other past problems. I’m stumped man. Another problem, I thought to run Sand as the host for everything. The first APP that I tried were my new fave drum machine - Fingerlabs DM1. Sand, wouldn’t recognize it, in any way. ??? It has been days worth of finding a new (already bought, as well) drum machine AND sequencer that will work together for composing late 70’s to early 90’s inspired electronic tunes on the iPad only. Song, format. Early retired. Lowwwwwww budget. I’m open to any thoughts sir. I primarily produce on hardware now but I just got a new iPhone and wanted to see what can be done on the smaller screen. This is perfect. I can utilize all the old plugins I’ve collected through the years in new fast, creative ways and it works and looks GREAT on my little iPhone screen. Brings back the fun in these technical products. Hint: (Try playing an organ clip (Loop) and plug Looperator (Sugarbytes) in as an effect. Hang onto your butts! "Shazamm! This is refreshingly simple and complexity is easily accessible with long click. A lot of complexity is built into auv3 apps these days. This app is opening up iOS to my drum and bass productions of any sort! I’m in love with my excessive synth and fx collection (bordering on gluttonous actually)… I’ve been looking for an easy sequencer and this seems to be it!
