## What is Sand Pattern?

Every pattern starts with a plan. Set a skill level, pick the equipment on hand, and choose a few favorite colors and styles, and a set of practice sessions appears built around that profile. Each session lays out a title, a difficulty label, and concrete steps to follow at the tray — then Guided Practice walks through them one at a time with a built-in timer, pause, and step check-offs, and saves the finished run to a practice history.

The You tab turns that history into something worth keeping: a daily streak, total practice time, a seven-day activity chart, recent sessions, and a set of unlockable achievements from the first finished pattern to a full week of daily practice - alongside your preferences and settings.

The Pattern Library is a built-in, fully offline reference: carving, layering, gradient blending, radial symmetry and more, a glossary of rakes, funnels, styluses and stencils, and step-up guides for each theme - geometric grids, floral sweeps, mandala rings, minimal lines, and fantasy scenes. Everything is searchable and readable without a connection.

Sessions can be filtered by difficulty or pinned as favorites, and new ones can be generated at any time. Snap a photo after a session and attach it to that session's own gallery, building a private record of how the work has moved forward. A separate feedback tool takes a finished piece and returns a short critique, concrete tips, style suggestions, a rough selling price range, and platforms worth listing on.

AI-powered session generation and artwork feedback are optional and off by default. They use a third-party AI service, so the app asks for your consent right where those features live - nothing is sent unless you turn them on, and you can turn them back off anytime from the You tab. The Home and Library tabs work fully offline without AI. There are no accounts and no sign in. Sessions, history, uploads, and preferences stay stored on the device, and camera or photo library access can be managed from iOS Settings at any time.
