The whole idea is to reserve at least one before you leave home. I did and the new updated app cancelled it and won’t allow me to re-book. We’ll see if it’s still there when we arrive. I go to the website on my desktop and the Book number that is required won’t let me enter anything. I tried multiple browsers. You’d think Sandals would not make it impossible to spend extra money with them, right? ### 3/5 — Needs work *2025-07-16, version 5.45.20* The app has a great over all look - but compared to other resort apps is a little bit behind. There is no interactive map. Their Gina chat box is not managed the daily. Planner is great but they don’t update it for each new week so they handed you a piece of paper at the beginning of the week to see where all the events are. The events should also have a map to my location my dinner reservations never actually got onto my daily planner, but my tour activities did, which I really liked definitely in progress but has a lot of work. ### 1/5 — Website check in is not working been trying for 2 days *2025-07-14, version 5.45.20* Website check in is not working ### 3/5 — Add menus *2025-06-30, version 5.45.19* We need to be able to see restaurant and room service menus. The website login has all the loyalty information correct, but I can no longer use the app to start getting excited about my upcoming vacation with restaurant options, activities, etc. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Only 1 household per account *2026-08-01, version 6.0.4* Cant even get excited about the dang trip, only 1 account per household. These resorts target couples….meaning 2 people are attending and only 1 person can log in. Wtf. This is antiquated dark ages stuff that was solved 20 years ago. Hire a junior programmer for an afternoon and fix this! ### 1/5 — App booking link issues *2026-06-09, version 6.0.4* For some reason only one of us (my wife and I), can claim the booking in the app. Seems like a pretty simple issue to sort out so that all parties can link to their booking. Other companies like Airbnb, vrbo, American Airlines, and almost any other company with booking apps seem to be able to solve this issue. But not Sandals. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2026-04-27, version 6.0.3* Tried to create an account because apparently you can only use the app with an account. However, after multiple codes sent to my email for “verification,” every single code said was incorrect. So couldn’t even get beyond creating an account. Garbage. ### 1/5 — Restaurant reservations don’t work *2026-02-07, version 6.0.2* The only thing I wanted to do in the app was make a restaurant reservation ahead of our trip and even two days before our trip it is giving error message when I submit the restaurant reservation. ### 1/5 — I don’t know if it’s any good *2025-12-13, version 6.0.1* I haven’t been able to get into the app since the change. That’s since August 2025…still waiting for assistance and it’s not for lack of effort on my part. I have a ticket open that I call about monthly and when I call to check the status, I get the same answer “oh my, yes, that’s a long time. I will escalate this for you.” Very frustrating to say it nicely. ### 1/5 — Not the best app *2025-10-26, version 6.0.1* The app keeps logging me out all the time, it’s very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Logging in is terrible! *2025-09-21, version 6.0.1* What did you do to the login process? Even if you set up Face ID it logs you out and you have to get a new pin every time through email. Can’t even make our reservation. Worthless at this point. You don’t get to make reservations for the restaurants in the app. The daily activities for the resort is no longer available. So you would have to go to the main lobby to find out because nothing is listed. I’m highly upset because this just switched on me. Also, if you use a larger font on your phone you have to change that every time that you use the app or else it isn’t functional. The crystal clear ocean along the swimming portion of the ocean is calm, clear and inviting with floating rings dispersed to swim to and relax upon. The thatched umbrellas along the beach are wonderful to duck out of the sun! There are lovely pools of all over the property. The biggest pool is a double infinity pool overlooking the ocean; breathtaking really. The music is relaxing and the swim up bar delightful! There was a dancing bartender serving delicious drinks all day. The food at Sandals Curaçao is top notch! So far at day two we haven’t had a bad meal! Aolos, the restaurant atop a hill overlooking the ocean is spectacular and the food; delicious! Our room is middle grade in price but fabulous! Our balcony is overlooking the ocean and gardens, is roomy and has a lovely bathroom! I found the bed a bit hard so housekeeping gladly installed a mattress topper to soften it; perfect! The staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating!
