This is after at least 5 crashes. On a bad day the app behaves like it’s giving my phone a virus. Doesn’t load, appears to have lost all my info, crashes immediately etc.. I’m close to switching daycare due to this app alone. I’m ok with it doing just one thing. Either messaged or pics. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-03-09, version 1.0.23* I was informed by my son’s school that this is the app they just started using to keep information on our account updated. This app was great the first few days but now it’s absolutely horrible. Can’t even log in to my account whatsoever. I tried over a few days to delete then reinstall the app but that’s not working. Cleared my data and cache but that didn’t help, either. I tried to reset my password but it tells me my email address isn’t on file as I am staring at my “welcome” email in my inbox from the day I signed up when I verified my email address. I really wish it would work because it was a great tool to be able to see all of my information in one place for my records. Please please fix these issues because this app is just taking up space on my phone at this point. Totally unusable. ### 1/5 — Incredibly Buggy *2022-03-03, version 1.0.23* Hard to believe an app dedicated to communication between parents and the people watching their children can be this broken. The newsfeed sometimes just won’t populate updates despite us getting email notifications. Sometimes an update will be listed on the child’s log but not be in the newsfeed… Sometimes you can’t even change which child’s log you’re accessing because the button to toggle is broken. We rely on these updates for critical info and peace of mind. Wish Sandbox would take that more seriously! ### 1/5 — Defeats the point of the app *2022-01-22, version 1.0.23* Compared to ParentSquare this is a terrible product with just too many unresolved issues to even offer to the market. Still logs me out every time I try to access it and then gets hung up loading content for hours. Nothing about it is intuitive or easy. Display frequently overlays text and pictures which makes it really hard to decider text. I know our school is trying to work with the developer but response time is rather long. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-01-06, version 1.0.23* This app is the absolute worst. Items never load. Sometimes I don’t see updates at all and miss out on really important information for my child’s school. I have to constantly refresh the site to be able to see half of the updates and sometimes they never load. It’s a total pile of garbage. They need to completely redo it. ### 1/5 — Terrible. Does not send notifications to iPhones. *2021-11-07, version 1.0.23* App constantly logs me out. Notifications do not work (push or email). Photo function opens up pics in a webpage and you have to go back to the app. ### 1/5 — Logged Out-Password Reset not sent *2021-08-01, version 1.0.23* This app was ok, but then I got logged out by the app and requested a password reset and never received it ### 1/5 — Constant problems *2021-05-09, version 1.0.23* Tons of issues with newsfeed and terrible customer service. Not to mention having to log in every time. ### 1/5 — Deeply disappointed *2021-04-14, version 1.0.23* My child’s school use this app for tuition deductions. We chose to pay for the tuition quarterly, but this app amazingly charged us quarterly and monthly. We had to go back and forth with the school to get the refund. What is even more ridiculous is after we get the refund, the exact same amount is charged again. It is totally a mess!! I have turned off auto pay now given all the mistakes it made and all the trouble we had gone through to get the refund. I should never ever turn it in. If I have an option not to use it, I would like to do that. ### 1/5 — Great EXCEPT *2021-03-22, version 1.0.23* Logs you out every 10 minutes what’s the point of having an app for my child’s school if I have to log in every time I want to check on something? ### 1/5 — Trash *2021-03-17, version 1.0.23* This app is garbage. It never loads the updates. I constantly get a request error. Unusable. If I even tap a picture that is posted it opens the picture in a new tab. It also won’t remember which location my daughter is in. Not a fan. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Dookie *2023-08-09* Should be allowed to leave zero stars. This piece of crap app does not work. At all. Cannot log in. Others parents that have to use the app constantly uninstall it, then reinstall it in order to log in. Even that step doesn’t work now. To the developers: take a long walk off a short pier. ### 1/5 — So frustrating *2023-06-22* This app has too many issues. I have to log in every single time I want to use it, an error occurs regularly when trying to access the daily log, and sometimes the pictures uploaded by the teacher don’t download. ### 1/5 — Crap *2023-06-14* The app is crap, as you can see from the ratings. I’ll add that the “support” we’re getting with login, display, and other functionality issues is poor. Workarounds and rote responses leave families at our daycare frustrated, and the daycare needs to rely on emails which take more time. Nothing good to say about this app ### 1/5 — Terrible. Buggy and can rarely access app *2023-06-09* This app is so buggy. Images always load up superimposed with text and other images. Logging in fails about half the time for no reason. I can’t believe this company charges daycares money for this app. ### 1/5 — Unable to Login *2023-06-02* After 6+ months of having to repeatedly re-enter my login information and a lot of weird re-directs within the app, I’m not completely unable to log in. I deleted the app and re-installed, but still no luck. Unfortunately, this is the only method of making an electronic payment with my child’s daycare center, so I’ll now have to throw it back to 2003 and write an actual check. Do I even still have a checkbook? ### 1/5 — Even worse *2023-05-26* I wrote a review a year ago and here’s my update: Some how this app has gotten even worse. It’ll boot you while your scrolling through information or pictures. It will barely load anything but blank pages on the phone. Now I’m lucky if I can log in at all 10% of the time. But it logs me out every 2-3 days. That’s annoying, I have no reason to log out and it’s a pain to wait and type in all the login info. It seems they are not really interested in making improvements as there hasn’t been any updates since downloading it last year. I think their server capacity is either very crappy or housed in China. Or It could be because of some legal limitations on the data being stored since it’s related to kids? I dunno but as it stands the app is barely functional and I feel like they need to invest on some better infrastructure. Pictures take forever to load, notifications come in and if you tap on them the app crashes, notifications go missing and just overall the app has some real stability issues. ### 2/5 — Very glitchy app *2020-12-29, version 1.0.23* This app always gives me error on my screen.
