## What is Sandevistan?

Sandevistan is bookkeeping for training, food and weight — no streaks,
no badges, no guilt. The app states numbers instead of appeals, and
wherever a number needs explaining, the explanation sits right next
to it.

TRAINING
- Sessions from your own routines or started free, sets saved one by
one, progress visible (done → better than last time)
- A rest timer that rings even while the iPhone is locked
- Weekly volume per muscle group, history per exercise, multiple gyms
- Strength retention: the number a cut is measured by — keep your
strength and you are losing fat, not muscle

FOOD
- Barcode scanner and search via Open Food Facts; your own foods and
  recipes always win
- “Like yesterday”, meal templates, quick estimates on the go
- A daily target from your phase (cut, maintain, build) with an
evidence-based pace picker — nothing is decided for you

WEIGHT & BODY
- A smoothed weight trend instead of daily scale noise
- Adaptive TDEE: after two weeks of logging, the app measures your
real maintenance from intake and weight trend — no more formulas
- Body measurements, blood pressure, blood work, progress photos
- Steps from your watch (Apple Health), honestly adjusted

ALSO
- Cardio (manual, Strava, TrainerRoad calendar), sauna & ice bath,
day plan, todos, goals with their why, a calm daily close instead
  of a verdict
- Fully bilingual: English and German

NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO SELLING.
Your data is yours: no analytics services, no selling of data. What
others see of you is your choice — nothing is shared by default. Delete
your account and all data any time, right in the app.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-17

Connections, the season as its own tab, the Hard Side-Quest and a lot in training and nutrition.

NEW
• Connections (More → Connections): connect with people you know through a link or code. Each side alone chooses what the other sees of their season — nothing, ticks or values; the default is nothing. Start the same season in co-op, or run two side by side, with a shared streak.
• PvP, even without a season of your own: challenges in steps, rules kept, sleep, calories, protein, training sessions or weight in per cent, for 3 to 90 days. By accepting, you see exactly that one number.
• Weight and food are shown to a connection only with their own switch: after a confirmation, from the day you switch it on, food only as daily totals.
• Leaderboard: whoever joins competes every week with their connections who join too — steps, training and season, up to 100 points each. Optional, leave at any time.
• Disconnect, block and report at any time; the operator looks at every report within 24 hours.
• Hard Side-Quest: a few days off all your duties — a trip, a hike. From tomorrow, 2 to 14 days, with a reason: season, streaks and reminders freeze — no penalties, no bonus.
• The season gets its own tab while one is running; at the end there is a summary per rule, and one tap starts the next season with the same rules.
• Feeling off? Spare body rules for today, for a few points. For things you can plan: pause a rule from tomorrow for up to 14 days.
• Scoring can be chosen per season: charge, sleep per night or on average, weekly budget, streak, penalty zone.
• A note per exercise — for every time, or just for next time.
• Template for next time: when you finish, the app asks what from today should stay.
• Pin and delete routines; the week plan shows ten days and asks when you move a session: “This week only” or “Every week from now on”?
• Add steps by hand when the watch was not with you — today or yesterday, on one day a week.
• Your own pace in per cent a week; for cutting also “Slow” (0.25 %). If your weight falls or rises too fast, a card says so.
• Below your measured maintenance, the cross-check — and why the two numbers differ.
• Every block of your day can ring, single ones can be muted, with a lead time; plus a weigh-in reminder.
• Ticking off blocks is an option — the day plan also works as a plain timetable.

BETTER
• Before a journal page is read with AI, the app asks — without your yes, no photo leaves the app.
• The rest timer keeps running when you switch tabs.
• A session past midnight stays one; a reopened session no longer loses sets.
• After training, the app shows “Trained today” instead of a suggestion.
• Sick day: let steps count or rest — your choice.
• Steps no longer run backwards; a tap on water no longer brings an old number back.
• Events from your calendar and TrainerRoad follow your time zone; dates are right west of Greenwich too.
• The morning check asks all day until your weight is in (can be switched off).
• Quests appear at once; buttons at the bottom no longer cover anything.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-07

The biggest rework so far.

NEW
• Four tabs at the bottom: Today · Nutrition · Training · More. Hide what you do not use in the settings — down to a single card.
• Week plan and month in Training: your routine and your cardio per weekday, drag and swap; the day plan follows. "Plan a new split" sets routines, days and time in one go.
• Journal: one entry per day, plus photos of handwritten pages that can be read into text on request — the text sits next to the picture, you take it over yourself. Backup as ZIP.
• Habits: tick, duration, amount, abstaining or a scale — daily, several times a week or on fixed days, with your own extra fields.
• Plans from the coach: a training or nutrition plan the coach sends you as a link — you see it first and take it over as your own copy. Its training days stand fixed in your week. Insight needs an explicit yes, value by value — then he can write you tips, and you can answer.
• Sick day: report a day as sick; the weekly target leaves it out.
• Add a past session from paper — for any day before today.
• TrainerRoad in Cardio: planned rides with their work in kcal.
• In the session: "Next exercise" takes you to the next open one; an exercise can be removed. The rest tone also sounds with the screen locked, over your music.
• A banner leads back to the running session from every screen.
• For the advanced (in the settings): Hard Mode — a season with rules you pick or write yourself, weighted per rule, measured day by day; every open quest leads straight to its entry.

BETTER
• Setup is a short sequence of steps and starts in your device’s language.
• Measured daily burn no longer bridges gaps.
• Protein per meal is a setting of its own.
• No number field sticks while typing.
• Header and rest timer stay put while scrolling.

### iOS 1.1 — 2026-08-30

Setup has been reworked. The calorie field follows your goal and activity
again instead of freezing after your first entry. The calorie floor never
drops below your basal rate. And the maintenance figure setup shows is the
same one the phase screen reports afterwards.

NEW
- Add your own Google calendar under "Devices and transfers" — the day plan
then works around your real appointments.
- A second calendar feed for a flashcard app: one block a day, and only on
days that actually have cards due.
- The catch-up now fetches steps, active energy and resting heart rate 14
  days back, not just steps.

MORE HONEST
- The subscribable calendar shows your block times as local time. They used
to be an hour off outside Cyprus.
- If the Health read permission is missing, the app says so — instead of
leaving you waiting for data that will never arrive without it.
- Height, birthday and sex stay reachable even if you did not pick the
  health area.
- After confirming your email you land on a page that says it worked,
instead of silently on the start screen.
