## What is Sanmat Nanakshahi?

The Nanakshahi Sanmat 550 (Punjabi, nānakashāhī) Calendar is a tropical solar calendar that was adopted by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee to determine the dates for important Sikh events.
