I have taught Sanskrit to yoga students and others all around the U.S. and Europe and I would have loved to have this app when I was first studying. Even now, I find it to be an incredibly valuable app. It goes from simple understanding of the alphabet, through all the most important information of noun declensions, verb conjugations, prefix, suffix, indeclinables, even many basic conversational sentences. If you're not sure of the pronunciation it even has audio for that. I would HIGHLY recommend this application for ANYONE interested in Sanskrit!
