## What is Sant Tukaram Gatha?

तुकाराम महाराजांची गाथा म्हणजे रोजच्या जीवनातील विविध व्यवहारातील सुत्ररूपाने केलेले मार्गदर्शन आणि जीवनाचे महाभाष्य आहे.

Sant Tukaram, also referred as Tukaram Maharaj, Tukoba and Tukobaraya, was a 17th-century poet-saint of the Bhakti movement in Maharashtra. Tukaram's work is known for his Abhanga i.e. Devotional poetry with a Marathi genre of literature that mixes folk stories with deeper spiritual meanings. His work is compiled in 'Tukaram Gatha', in Marathi language. His poetry was devoted to Vitthala or Vithoba, an avatar of Hindu god Vishnu. 

Tukaram encouraged Kirtan as a music imbued, community-oriented group singing and dancing form of bhakti. He considered Kirtan not just a means to learn about Bhakti, but Divinity itself. The greatest merit in Kirtan, according to Tukaram, is not only a spiritual path for the devotee but it helps create a spiritual path for others too. Tukaram’s genius partly lies in his ability to transform the external world into its spiritual analogue.

Some lovely sounds coming from this app.
What would make it much better would be if it opened in AUM so it could be used in other music making. I have some wonderful multi delay effects apps that you can load samples into to create some amazing soundscapes and I think the sounds from this app would work really well.
Also… I’m curious to know what actually happens when you hit the download button on the tracks ? I can’t seem to find where it saves them?
