It's a bit time consuming to put all the gifts in but it's kept me on track and on budget. No more wondering if I've been even with all the kids gifts, it does that for me. The best thing is it keeps the info until you delete or change it. I can see what I purchased last year and how much I spent , love it! One suggestion, maybe have a quick entry method to just list gifts & person... It covers all my Holiday shopping list needs, from the planning stage until the last gift is wrapped. It's simple and fun to use. The hardest part was typing in all the names on my list, and I did that a couple of years ago, so at the start of every season I just need to clear the gifts and the names are all there and ready to be checked off. The option to print or email the list is great (to keep a record), and so is the password protection. I just tried to use the app and my password was not recognized. I don't know what I would do without it! I am able to keep track of all of my purchased gifts, my budget, which gifts are wrapped & who I have left to buy for. I love that I can save the store that a gift was purchased at. While it rally's how much you have spent it it does not subtract out so you know what you have left. You can not single out people and just their gifts only by groups. It also doesn't allow you to input a budget without including a specfic gift idea so to get around it I used a question mark. ### 1/5 — Great Idea - But Does Not Work *2008-11-12* Love the idea and the layout. ONE BIG PROBLEM.... IT DOES NOT WORK. Cannot get items into the "to Buy" list. It will not save them. Hard to save anything (had problems getting entries into the "people" list to save). Adding in dollar values is also a pain. You have to clear out the zeros (hit "X" to clear) in the price entry box before you can add a price or budget amount otherwise a $5.00 items enter as .005. Really does not matter because, again it will not save anything. I think it will not let you save anything in the "to buy" input box unless all the fields are filled out. if this is in fact the case that is not good. You need to be able to do partial entries and then go back and edit as necessary. Would be really neat to be able to email lists back and forth. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause would really appreciate that feature. I short, good, no great concept and features but they need to get the program to work. I am a super busy mom of 3 and have NUMEROUS people to buy for. It keeps me organized & within my budget for holiday spending. I love that at a glance I can see who I still have to buy for and wrap. Great feature is that you can put where you bought a gift too... Easy returns if needed! I can not manage my Christmas shopping without this app! There are a few ideas that would help keep things organized for me (alphabetizing the list of gifts I need to buy would help to make sure that I do not miss someone in the rush).
