## What is Sanvaad?

Sometimes you just need someone to listen.

Sanvaad (संवाद, "a heartfelt conversation") lets you talk with Madhav, a calm and patient AI companion who shares the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. Just speak, the way you would to a friend. Madhav listens, asks gentle questions to understand what is troubling you, and then shares what the Gita says about it, in simple words and with the verse reference (for example, Gita 2.47).

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Talk by voice: tap the mic, speak, and Madhav answers in a warm voice.
• Or type, if you prefer to write.
• See the shloka on your screen: the Sanskrit verse appears word by word as Madhav reads it, with its meaning below.
• Hear stories from the Mahabharata, Ramayana and the lives of saints, each told with where it comes from.
• Talk in nine Indian languages: Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN
• iPhone: one simple screen, just you and the conversation.
• iPhone Duo: on the open screen, talk to Madhav on one side and read your conversation or the verse on the other.
• iPad: hold it sideways for the same two-sided view, or upright for the simple one.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no name, no email, no phone number.
• Your conversations are saved only on your device. Delete them any time with one tap.
• We never store your words on our servers.

MINUTES
Your first 3 minutes are free. After that, you can add minutes in the app (5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes). Only the time you spend in conversation is counted, and your minutes never expire. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple.

PLEASE NOTE
• Madhav is an AI companion, not a person. It is not Sri Krishna or God and never speaks on their behalf. It shares what the Gita says, for knowledge only; the choices are always yours.
• Sanvaad is not affiliated with any religion, organisation, temple, guru or scholar, and respects all faiths equally.
• It is not a doctor or counsellor and gives no medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. If you or someone near you is in danger, please call your local emergency number. In India: Tele-MANAS helpline 14416, or 112.
• For people aged 18 and above.

Sanvaad is improving every day. If you spot a mistake in a verse, tap "Report a mistake".
