The curation is good but can be better with more knowledgeable commentators, the current lot is more dramatic than deep. The collection should be much more given Saregama’s almost monopolistic status as a recording house over the decades. The sound quality is excellent, better than competing apps (I’ve done A/B comparisons). But the software has glitches. Songs are wrongly titled at times, sometimes playlists stop midway or go back to previous song on their own. There are times when the app shuts down itself. Far better software programming needed to complement the nice user interface. I wanted to subscribe after my free trial. But the after reading some subscription related horror stories in many reviews here, I feel uncertain. ### 4/5 — Continues to lead but it’s high time for adding new collections *2020-10-19* Am a subscriber for the last 3 years and my day mostly starts with this app “the theme of the day”. But it’s high time for adding new collections from the past and present. I wonder why this is not being done inspite of repeated requests from the connoisseurs!! Please wake and do something to avoid the repetition. Looks like Monday is the rest day for the theme of the Day group. Can u rethink on it ? Theme of the day Carnatic on Sundays are limited to Tamil repository-it’s very often repeated & hence boring. Why not from Telugu, Kannada too ? Also please bring in new presenters on these days. Not sure whether all these comments / suggestions are being read and actions are taken - apparently it’s not getting reflected to be so. ### 2/5 — Subscriptions don’t work!! *2020-06-13* This is such a beautiful app but there’s this bug with subscription where I am subscribed and money gets deducted every month but app suddenly stopped recognising my subscription and asks me to subscribe again! Had complained a year ago to their support and had unsubscribed as I couldn’t continue using the app due to this bug. Then subscribed again, it worked for few months and now again app isn’t recognising my subscription. Sadly had to unsubscribe again. Pl do fix this. There are other similar reviews as well. One think I noticed is the search by Albums is missing - Search By instrumental or by Raga is great though...Is it a upcoming feature? Must- Have for any Indian Classical Music fan! Currently it doesn’t continue with the playlist once you stop and restart - it goes on in a loop on the same song. Also, content for Carnatic music needs to improve a lot. Grouping is very well done but the app’s UX wins the worst streaming app award. It’s slow, takes a while to play and the forward and backward controls don’t work most times. But in spite of money debited from my card on date, my account stopped working. This happened second year in row. Customer care is so poor and they don’t respond to you. They asked me to send screenshot of payment which I did, but still , my subscription is not acting I told several of friends to subscribe this App, now I will tell them about my bad experience In spite of several request, you are not fixing the problem. I may have to inform my Bank and they will put your App/website under black list. You will lose it. *2017-11-29* I used it for sometime and had subscribed to it. It was working, one fine day it started asking me to subscribe for 1/6 months. I was already subscribed and it still wanted me to subscribe. When I did subscribe again, it said you are already subscribed. So it was a deadlock and money was being charged every month. I wrote to support and also called. No response to email, on phone hardly any support to solve the problem. As of today I have lost 2 months of subscription, won’t get the money back, neither the app will work. Don’t pay. Streaming option on IOS devices limited to Google cast and not the Chromecast.
